Good points. Phillip drove away a few people from TM didn't he. Fern Britton said that Phillip came into the make-up room and told her to never disrespect him again. Then not long after she left the show, saying she wasn't enjoying it any more.
Wonder if that's why Phillip ended up with M&S bland Holly, instead of anybody with more personality, as he drove others away?

I was also thinking how quick Phillip was to say as far as he was concerned he no longer has a brother. Then Phillip says he feels suicidal for losing his career after being linked to a young runner. Then Phillip has a few famous people like Elton defending him, which is more than he did for his brother.
Although as long as MM doesn't say he kept in contact with Phillip from being a child or they had a relationship before he got the TM job, not much can be done about it.

Yes.I can't see that happening now its quite.

In any such case if there was a young person involved in a love affair, flirtations etc the person may think of it as positive, innocent, a foolish mistake and perhaps happily be paid handsomely to hush up.

We are in a climate where money is desperately needed its just the attractive option.

A young person under 30 will likely not view the situation as a person over 30 with kids, life experience.
So many youngsters today just want that fame, quick money 🤑 They will sell their Soul for fame, money, power.
Today's role models are Love Islanders and The Kardashians 🤪

PLEASE UNDERSTAND I am NOT making light of situations like this. I just see the age we are in.

Also there is more than just PS involved here. ITV, YMU, This Morning, the Drama School, Holly, etc.
This is bigger than one man and these people will probably pay whatever money 💰 💸 to keep themselves out of futher investigation.

It PS went down I can imagine the whole HOUSE OF CARDS would.

BUT karma exists and life will find a way. Just like a sat Nav finding another route.
Let's face it at least THEY ALL have (PS, ITV, TM, Holly etc) had some consquence like damage to their reputations that they all deserve.

Theyve behaved unacceptably & worse is the desperate attempts to cover it up! 😡

I've read rumours over the years that Fern quit TM as she found out that PS was earning not only more than her for presenting TM but also the Soap Awards & i recall that he was paid around 15k per episode of Mr & Mrs and Fern was allegedly paid around £8k per episode. Adding on top of the rumours about his attitude behind the scenes at TM and the argument that they had in the dressing room about him changing the running order of TM, she finally had enough and walked away. Does anyone remember a few weeks after when it was announced during a cooking segment with Phill V, Phill told PV that Fern had bagged her own Channel 4 teatime chat show & PV was none the wiser so much so, PS reaction after PV said he wasn't aware was (Yikes) I bet the breakfast table at you're house is frosty.

"My little angel wouldn't do anything wrong". Tbh his mother probably hasn't got much of a clue what he has or hasn't been up to. If he did something gravely wrong he's hardly going to tell her. So she is just doing what lots of mothers do - defending her darling son, who, in her eyes, is an innocent person and is being persecuted. She is probably of an age where people were more innocent as well.

I had a feeling he might be neurodivergent in some way. As some who is neurodivergent myself (autistic) there was something about him - I don't know, I just tend to often sniff it out in others. Not saying I'm always right but it doesn't come as a surprise to me that he's ADHD. And it makes Philth's actions all the more despicable 😔

Philth may not have known from the beginning that MM had ADHD, but he certainly would have sniffed out that he was vulnerable in some way, and easily pliable. Anyone who has ever taken advantage of or bullied a neurodivergent person probably didn't know they were neurodivergent (often the person doesn't know themselves until if or when they get a diagnosis later in life) but bullies and predators sure seem to know how to sniff vulnerable people out, neurodivergent or not, because we give ourselves away, whether it be our words, the way we carry ourselves, or our actions. Those people are lower than tit.

I do agree with this, Penny has got some of her facts wrong and I've seen comments saying MM is a rent boy and was blackmailing PS and that he was on drugs on some of the threatre school videos. Spreading rumours like that doesn't help anyone. Also people saying MM is in Cornwall with PS and his Mum when there is no evidence at all.

What I did notice in Julie's comment is she hasn't denied that any grooming or sexual relationship happened between SS and PS. That is something I would want to clear up if it was untrue. Also noticed she doesn't defend PS and has spelt his name wrong. Maybe she doesn't like him much. SS is probably still under PS's spell and they won't say anything.

Yes it was notable she didn't defend Philth. Maybe she does know more about him than originally thought, and sees SS as another one of his victims just trying to get on with his life, and of course MM too.

Re Cornwall, yes, the tabloids have been staking out Philth's mum's house there, I'm sure, and I'd imagine would have been likely to have seen it or heard about it if MM was there. They also would have been likely to at least hint at it in an article. So the more I think about it, it may have been bullshit. However I wouldn't totally discount it wither.

Musk is supposedly doing it so more people will have to sign up for the £8 a month and get verified so they can see and do more. Unsurprisingly, not as many signed up as they thought would. It also didn't help that many celebs point blank refused so he paid for them to have it, thinking he was proving a point but defeating the purpose as the money came from his own pocket.

There were stories going around that since he was forced to buy it after he changed his mind, he is doing all he can to burn it into the ground and seeing as how it was worth $44B when he bought it and it's now only worth around $20B, he seems to be doing a good job.

I've just seen Julie and PS aren't friends on Facebook. She still follows him on IG but her account doesn't look very active. She doesn't follow him on Twitter and there are no tweets to him. She had liked a tweet defending him when he quit TM but that was before he admitted to the affair. Maybe she only became aware very recently of what he has been up to.

She might have thought PS was just a friend/mentor to SS but maybe realised he did the same to him and maybe others. SS might be denying anything happened too and still protecting PS.

If everything is as Simon's mother says, and there is nothing to hide - which I suppose would mean that Simon is no longer in contact with Phillip after finding out that 'like everyone else he was lied to by Phillip' - then why hasn't Simon issued a statement clarifying the above? His name is already out there so what does he have to lose? At the very least Simon played a hand in introducing Phillip to Matthew when the latter was underage (through a close family connection and/or his theatre school), so there are questions for him to answer. If he was unaware of Phil's proclivities and since the news breaking he is 1) horrified with how Phil's relationship with Matthew progressed and regretful of the part he played in introducing them and 2) horrified that he introduced Phillip to a number of other young people at his theatre school - then why not say this? Simon is not currently facing any abuse allegations himself; he is only a person of interest as one of Phil's 'associates' and a piece of the puzzle, so he could dim the spotlight on himself by answering some questions. And as one of the main people involved in running 2Faced, he has a responsibility to account for those children's welfare and retrospectively apologise to children and their parents for putting them at risk. If the reason for 2Faced closing was as innocent as stated above, then put this on record and end the speculation. I would understand if Simon, with the hindsight and knowledge he now has, sees Phil's (grooming) behaviour in a more sinister light and regrets his association with him. Given the situation, it's reasonable that people want answers and by Simon avoiding the matter as he has done so far it looks as if he has something to hide.

If anyone has a non-identifying youtube account and feels like posting the above as a reply to Julie Schofield, then please feel free, and lmk any updates!

And if Phil groomed Simon, whether for a sexual return and/or for access to underage boys, he is a victim too, and it is easy to see the power imbalance in play between them when they first met. If this is what happened then I'm sure people would understand and have sympathy for Simon - although to what extent I suppose depends on the role he played in perpetuating the cycle.

I wouldn't be surprised if things are more complicated for Simon than they seem, and his mother may not know the full story.

I looked up Penny's video after reading about it on here, and the only reason she came up with MM being in Cornwall was because somebody told her they saw him walking on a beach, so I assumed somebody made that up to her. Or did she make it up herself for YT views, along with MM being a rent boy?
There's more accurate information that MM has been in another area attending a family funeral, complete with photos on his sister's online profiles.
