Also, a repeat (for the 3rd or 4th time) of a travel segment, much like Alison’s jaunt to Jamaica, which has been shown so regularly I feel like I was actually there too…
 
I’m way behind so apologies if this has already been said. I remember one of the rare times I’ve seen TM since R&J left, that the saggy arsed git was moaning about people complaining to OFCOM, this was after the Ross/Brand business. He said something like “they aren’t even supposed to KNOW about OFCOM”. ‘They’ infuriated me at the time, the attitude on him, this was only a few years into his tenure.

The good thing about my dad was, and certainly probably less so now, but in the
days when journalism and journalists were respected, and he respected the people
he was talking to, and he knew stories that he just wouldn't publish because it would
ruin someone's family or career, whatever it was.And so, they trusted him and he
became very good friends with Alex Ferguson. Fergie always talks about my dad in
very fond terms. So if anything, I suppose, through my career, I have tried to do the
decent thing as best I could, and I would have got that from him.

Ive not been following the thread today other things on my mind but just saw the pay off story. Is that type of thing usual in TV? Obviously top management must have authorised.

My mind is like a sieve but I read apparently bloke who played Gordon the Gopher became a judge?

On Talk TV there was a woman called who had shares in ITV she was obviously worried about her dosh but also said the family programme myth had been shattered people were upset, for then This Morning is company, it’s like family.

The caller said she was worried about Phillip Schofield how he was coping with all this.

They should just stop the programme and do an independent investigation straight away, the more This Morning carries on as normal the more ridiculous it becomes.

If heads don’t roll in this debacle then something very strange is going on.

We’re back to the French Revolution aren’t we? Best get back to my knitting.
