Yes. You also can’t really sue for people talking about you. If they’re telling the truth or giving a reasonable opinion, you can’t really stop them or bring legal proceedings.

Schofield is a public figure and has no reasonable expectation of privacy in relation to matters relating to his TV job. Also, his reputation is already very much damaged.
 
Sorry if this has already been done but I saw a bit of Talk TV tonight. They had an author and a journalist on ad guests discussing the This Morning story.

Basically Kevin O’Sullivan one of the hosts thinks This Morning is done and that Holly can’t return to the sofa. The main issue is what This Morning represents and what it purportedly is are two separate things and people don’t trust what they’re seeing any more.

Sorry I didn’t get anymore I had to pop out.
 
I think Phil and Hollys statements have backfired on them both spectacularly! The media are not going to let them get away with this scandal. They escaped #queuegate and were so arrogant and smug about it too. About time their huge fake egos were deflated. Can’t wait for 9pm! 😆 ITV executives will be thinking who’s next because the media aren’t going to let them off the hook either.

Pillith implies its only a hand full of people who actually have a grudge against him and the TM is a great place to work essentially pressing a nuclear button for EH.

Eamonn Holmes calls Phillith out and is now doing a pre recorded interview he has said this is for all colleagues stung by Phillith.

DM has pushed the young lover (victim!) all day with blurred out face.

Victim is now known to have left a job 2wks prior to this all kicking off, Speculation he's hiding out. Talk of him telling lawyers (Speculation these are paid for by Phillith) that he isn't lying for anyone anymore.

Tattlers are assembling to watch GB News at 9pm. Can be found on your tv or youtube 😂

Yeah maybe, I know it might just be my tin foil hat getting a bit too tight but I'm really starting to think there are legal proceedings going on here.

I really want to hear what they all have to say but not at the expense of messing up a criminal case if that is what's going on.

Yes - you can't sue for slander if they aren't lies.
