I get that people will be asking who else knew etc. But I was in a similar situation about 15 years again when I was in a junior role working on a Tim Westwood project. He was so blatant about bringing barley legal girls on set but everyone higher up who worked for the BBC just shrugged it off as normal. We were all like WTF. But who would I have told? I couldn’t go to the police and say the a famous DJ had a young girlfriend. All those systems are as culpable for enabling and protecting abusers.

If ITV management weren’t interested and the papers were gagged, who was Holly going to tell? She saw what happened to Ruth and Eamonn and probably thought no bleeping way am I going to get myself fired for calling out Philth when he’ll get away with it anyway.

It sounds like she’s been biding her time and as soon as she saw her opportunity to get away from him safely, she took it.

I'm no Holly apologist and I do think she knew about MM and agree she's been distancing subtley for some time. But is it possible more is about to come to light that she has only recently found out about? The falling out literally came out of nowhere and her disgust as someone said on the last thread was palpable.
Phillip is clearly a highly manipulative and controlling man. It seems he has lied to everyone around him with ease.

The falling out didn't come out of nowhere, I think Phil's brother's trial and Phil's action/inaction around his brother's crimes are what triggered it.
 
I’ve been thinking about his “unwise but not illegal” statement.
Could we still be being duped?
There is evidence PS liked younger boys and he’s admitted to being on and off with MM.
But could MM be blackmailing PS?
We are assuming MM is an innocent victim of grooming but could he be the nasty abuser?
Maybe PS trusted MM too much, got chatty and Braggy with MM and told him too much about influencisl people.
MM got super vindictive and

I do t know threatened to spill all the tea when PS moved on
That photo of Holly dismissing him at NTAs could be “don’t try your crap on me”
PS could he have thrown himself under the bus to protect some powerful people.
Maybe unwise is because he was known to be vindictive.
I don’t know but I think it’s possible that what we think is the truth now is just a different set of lies

Totally disagree, shes in a very privileged position married to a very powerful itv producer . As it’s come to light, she recently went to her bosses and said either Phil goes or I do. They finally sacked Phil. Pity she didn’t say something earlier

Ruth got sacked from TM for reporting PS regarding MM, I think you’re totally on the wrong line

No, not buying it. I’ll accept maybe she was powerless to do anything at work but if you had a work colleague doing that and you are so close you socialise together and you take him on holidays with your family then you don’t have a problem with it. She only got out when she needed damage limitation.
