I’ve been out all day and just had a brief glimpse at Twitter and saw a TV news account announced he’d been dropped by YMU and then I saw a BBC News article confessing he had an affair with a runner!

As you know MM was running a pub down the road from me. Two weeks ago I was told he was being paid £4000 a month for the next 10 years. This is second hand talk of course because I haven't heard it from MM first hand. It may not be true but I wouldn't divulge it before in case it had a knock on effect. Now that everything is out in the air I hope that ITV do the honorable thing and look after this young man, and if they dont I hope he sells his story to the highest bidder.

I know its easy for them to say that - but surely as a PR company, they'd advise him on how to see this through, not flat out drop him?

It says he lied to them and the external advisors they brought in presumably to try and make things go away.
Something has defo been brought to their attention- if MM was groomed/underage they cant be seen to be condoning/trying to cover up illegal activities.
That's their reputation and standing gone.
