They may be carrying on like nothing has happened but nobody else is 🤔

Top Trending for yet another day in a row.

I’ve just seen in the other thread Eamonn was on tv earlier saying Holly had a mask on because she cries all the time, can’t deal with anything and is a germaphobe 👀

I see the Daily Mirror have kept the 'viciously trolled' and 'false claims' narrative going. Oh dear. Bit of an 'own goal, that, DM. They may, indeed, have been the subject of some 'vicious trolling' but please don't label us all the same. As I've said elsewhere, my e-mail to ITV was fairly polite. Further, 'false claims' is ridiculous. They 'jumped the queue' to see the Queen lying in state. That is indisputable. They clearly did, whatever bloople they try and pass it off as.

Anyone got clips of what Eamon actually said? I'd quite like to see it but I'd rather tit in my hands and clap than go trawling through GB News various feeds looking for it.
Apparently, he replied with the 'praying hands' emoji to someone who called for them sacking on Twitter and asking for him and Ruth to return to TM. Not quite the same thing as 'calling for' it himself, but a sign he is giving it the nod.

I find it interesting how in the clip he's going "Oh it's one of the most profound experiences of my life."

Presumably "it" being seeing the Queens coffin and paying respects, yet in the nonpology video Holly says they didn't see her.

So what was so profound Phil??

They really do think we're idiots. No one likes a liar. Just come clean and apologise.

"We got offered the chance to see the Queen lying in state. We thought this would be good for the program and you the viewer as we could tell you first hand what the experience was like. In hindsight it was disrespectful to have jumped the queue, we had good intentions but our actions were wrong and for this we are sorry. "

Instead they are treating their viewers with contempt by lying about it.

Honestly, its queues and memes that keep the UK going!

This is going to be a study in bad PR for many years.

Over 40k now!

I must admit, this has become a lot bigger than I thought it would. I genuinely and honestly thought it was all going to blow over in a couple of hours and be a non-scandal type of scandal (aka, brief controversy, resolved in 24 hours or less). It's satisfying seeing these two get twatted constantly. They deserve it - him especially.

But Piers Morgan's jumped to their defence and pretending they're being "publicly flogged".
