IMO he should have been ahead of Haaland at certain games last season. Erling and his dad seem to think he can just stand there and demand goals come to him where as Julian actively went out searching to score goals and assist

It’s just the same as Kalvin being back and the you festers, they’ll all start steadily flowing out in coming weeks. Cancelos gf is pregnant again and seems quite settled in Europe so I’d guess he’d be vying for a move or another loan

I think Cancelo also was a dick to Rico Lewis, telling him he didn’t deserve to be there. That’s what I’d read. So not only did Cancelo get into a physical confrontation with Pep in training, he was a stroppy asshole with a teammate. And he also threw his toys out the pram at Bayern Munich, didn’t he? There were behavioral problems there, too. So City and Pep aren’t the problem; Cancelo has a pattern.

Talented or not, the guy is toxic, a distraction, and too much work to manage. Nobody’s bigger than the club.

He’s right. Other clubs spend a shit ton of money and it’s perfectly fine but anytime City do a bit of business - like getting a fair price for World Cup winner and treble winner Julian Alvarez - it’s “OnEoNeFive!!!” “OIL!” “Cheats!”
