Clitheroe is 5 laps with a disgusting hill, and it’s so steep down that it doesn’t feel like a break!

Worst one I have done is Street in Somerset - running a W shape round some playing fields a few times. So boring. When it’s like that I do wonder why people bother - it sucks all the joy out of running for me! I want a pretty course and no more than 2 laps or I’d rather just go by myself

Is anyone else (im) patiently waiting to see if their parkrun cancels tomorrow? It's my NENDY and all the ones nearby have cancelled.

I'm due to volunteer at a local but not my home parkrun and if they don't decide early enough I might get there to bad news... Guess it would get my food shop done earlier if they do cancel as I wouldn't have time to get to an alternative parkrun.

I’ve decided to give parkrun a rare miss tomorrow because it’s going to be 0c and sleet here! Probably considered child cruelty to drag the 3yo out in her buggy around the local ‘winter course’ which is basically like school xc - no thanks

All of our local ones have cancelled, so we are having a rare Saturday morning without an alarm. Other than the toddler-alarm, of course...
