Does anyone thing he will put his 11 minute mile to the test this weekend during runDisney?

The whole runDisney attempt is purely for content, fan ego boosting, and merchandise - nothing more, nothing less. The dude can’t even walk around in 40° weather without looking bloodshot red and getting the meat sweats. If going to Disney Springs and having a high sugar, high caloric bender is a way to prep for a run then I think that’s all we need to know on the seriousness of the run.

There’s another theme park vlogger (Theme Park Express) who recently gained so much weight by going on a handful of cruises and having full-out buffet binges that he no longer fits on rolller coasters at Universal or Busch Gardens and he’s going to do the run and for the same reasons as Nate - content, ego boosting from his stan’s, and merchandise

I used to love Nate. Now I'm finding watching him more and more uncomfortable. It's almost like when high school kids vote the most challenged kid Homecoming King out of pity. He was really watchable early days he split from Veronica. Their B roll and music choices were usually great but something about the way she acted and he treated her was totally off. I was happy for him that his friends rallied round and when his channel started getting hosted. He lucked out with RSVLT which I think was the only cool shirts on property available in his size. But like many vloggers, he started to belueve his own hype, played up to it and honestly stagnated. He's not as good with his editing and often leaves in retakes, the music is gone, the filing adequate and he's gone the Tracker route if 'watch me eat'. His determination to hang out with some of these obnoxious wannabes drinking heavily and singing loudly reeks of desperation. Glad Super Enthused and WDWC have pulled away and act a bit more like grown ups. His stans encourage this tit behaviour and clearly don't care about him as a person if they're happy to encourage his awful lifestyle choices. I'm thinking 2023 will be the year he starts to find he can't get onto some of the rides 😕

I agree! The editing on his vlogs is awful and is a quick import-upload approach. Before he had music, an outro animation, but now his editing is SO sloppy, thrown together and I don’t know if you can even call it editing at this point. His thumbnails all look the same and are quick copy/paste graphics and I’m assuming between his “editing” and thumbnail creations it all must take him less than 30 min to toss together and it shows.

The fact he’s so lazy to edit out retakes, or trim the beginning and ends of clips so he doesn’t have that creepy tail end of a clip shows how serious he takes this. Vloggers like him aren’t in this for personal growth, skill learning, advancing their “business” but to ring in the money that comes in from putting minimal effort.

It's hard to do a great job editing when you're drunk or hungover.

I agree with some of the things being said here lately about Nate, he used to have a little bit of innocent charm, even if it was a character, that's fine, but now it seems too forced and he seems to just be going though the motions. It would better if he didn't worry about being a character as much, and also stayed away from some of the bad influences for sure. The new years eve vid was so cringe and tough to watch. Heading in a bad direction

Oh, I think he achieved this in 2022. He avoids Flight of Passage, which is the only ride at Disney I absolutely believe he can no longer fit. I don’t for one second believe he and his sister rode Velocicoaster or any of the HP rides during their trip in Nov or Dec. There is no way. Unfortunately, he won’t come clean about this until there is a new ride opening at Universal and he can’t ride it because of his size.

He is actually in a great position to completely turn his channel around an gain a ton of new subs as well as probably overtake in views with all of the Disney vloggers

Could you imagine the views if there was a channel about a fat guy trying to get fit at Disney so he could fit on the rides, he could easily even clickbait the titles, he could make his whole channel a journey about how he can't get on rides an how he's going to aim to get on them, show us all the best places to eat an how to control your diet within the parks, also workout so he could do all the run Disney marathons (an I don't mean walk them but actually work to be fit enough to run them) he would also be the only channel to be fitness focused within a Disney/universal lifestyle

All of the Disney vloggers are focused on rides, drinking, eating an with most just getting fat, he has a opportunity to separate himself an be the better channel, but rather than actually become successful he will just float alone making enough to pay for bills an rent an live off his stans gift cards an beg for hosted stays, so that he can continue to drink an eat an act the fat jolly man

If he doesn't change this year then there is no 2024, if he continues then his weight will be the end of him this year, an forget getting on most of the rides as well

I really don't understand why people work so hard to deflect Nate's obnoxiousness onto external influences. Miss Trunchbull and her cadre of idiots might be multiplying the annoyance factor, but this was who Nate was even before he hooked in with them.

Why would anybody watch that? if you are on a bucket list trip to Disney you are going to indulge. If you are a local with an annual pass trying to get in shape and lose weight you'd just not go to the parks for awhile. I suppose there could be exceptions to either of those cases but in general people want to see someone enjoying themselves (maybe not to Nate's gluttony level) not trying to be healthy. Just my 2 cents void in Marceline, Missouri.

People might watch to see his progress. But then what? What happens when he is at his goal weight? The purpose of his channel dies.

But I agree that if he doesn’t stop overeating he is headed for big medical problems. Nate, there are people on here who have been where you are. Please take their advice to heart. We love to talk crap about you but none of us want to see you drop dead of a heart attack.

I think there's more than enough people interested in watching people's journeys, if there wasn't then shows like 600lb life, 1000lb best friends or super size wouldn't exist, so there's obvious interest out there that will bring in views, I also think being able to show where you can eat healthy in places like Disney an universal is a bonus, just because some people like to over indulge when on vacation doesn't mean everyone does, I get 3 days into a Disney holiday an am pissed off looking at places selling burgers an chicken strips, while I can go online an look for places with better food it would still be nice to see a channel review places so I can see where to go an what it's like

I agree that if he got to goal weight then that journey would be at its end, but he could still do what he's doing right now, the only difference is he would actually be able to walk around without turning purple an fit on rides

Personally these channels are always going to be a risk to base your livelihood on, what happens when people just eventually get fed up watching parks, or what if Disney take the decision to stop people vlogging or want people to pay fees in order to do so? Or maybe people will eventually get fed up watching someone eat themselves to death an tune off

He needs to get himself into better shape so why not just make a journey of it, maybe he gets extra views maybe he doesn't, but end of the day he's gonna be much healthier at the end

If he would implement these suggestions it would be a drastic change to his present format. I'm sure he's not going to be changing anything soon because he just made a major change....he'll be wearing baseball caps more often.

I think he purposely tries to keep his channel lighthearted and probably fears that bringing in a weight loss journey or just his personal issues in general will alienate people. And I think it's the primary reason that more people watch him than most of the Disney vloggers with similar or even more subscribers.
He has absolutely no problem bringing in his personal issues when it suits him through, all these poor me am all along vlogs to guilt the stans into sending him things to "cheer him up"

Either way he isn't going to last long, he also shouldn't be making it seem like he's getting on rides, it's a false image to the stans who are going to go to these parks an think they too will be able to ride only to be thrown off them, I'll be interested to know how honest he will be with the Tron ride when it opens, there's absolutely no way he's fitting in the normal seats so I hope for once he will be clear with his viewers about it, especially since this ride is going to be bringing in a ton of views an most will be people wanting to see how this ride deals with people who are tall/fat/disabled/have issues with motion/have mild back problems etc

1 year ago he fit in the VelociCoaster test seats. He does look heavier now.
