Outspoken The Podcast

I know a section is not an easy way out
But she gives too posh to push vibes

vaginal birth would have been too out of her control and look I get it I would have preferred a section but even though I went private they said no because I’m young etc … my birth was awful and baby was resus so a section could have avoided that but imagine how she would have been had she gone vaginally and spontaneously

bet she will make her sisters be with her the whole time or her husband take the 6 weeks off before she can drive

Anyone else catch this excellent spelling today? Great journalism
Um guys we’re actually rEaL jOuRnALisTs WiTh JoUrNaLiSm DeGrEeS and did you know we’ve actually worked for and been on tv before! 🙄🙄🫠🫠🫠

Of course they all did the exact same degree! 🙄
They all have the same car, the same dog, had the same wedding, have the same one best friend - you think you’d want to differentiate yourself from each other a LITTLE bit! 😳
…oh excuse me one has awful fried blonde hair 🥴🥴

It’s giving Featherington sisters 😂😂
Exactly who I thought of too 😂

She probably rocked up to her first midwife appointment and was like, “I’m sorry, what? I’m supposed to push the baby out of where?!?”

One is very orange, maybe it’s the same one. I don’t know 😂

I feel like those comments are having us on , how can they be that dumb. Pity it wasn't a vaginal birth and a turd popped out at the same time 😂 😂 😂 which is completely normal.
She would simply pass away with embarrassment!! 🫣🫠 girls don’t have bodily functions! How disgusting! 🙄🙄
….wait til he pees in her face when she’s changing him! 😂

Hahahaha yup you KNOW she was horrified when she found that vital piece of information out! 🥴🥴

Lol yes I think Sophie is the cakey orange, bleached to within an inch of her life one! ….and IF POSSIBLE seems to be the most stupid of the 3 of them - I THINK she’s the whole who though babies eat solid straight away 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can't believe 3 young women would know next to nothing about childbirth. Surely their mum explained some things. Parenting is going to be interesting for them, wait till one of them has a daughter.
It’s honestly shocking. Considering they’re triplets as well! If I was a multiple I’d be SO interested in finding out aaaaall about how that works! ….just further proof of how incredibly sheltered they are! What, did they think the stork dropped the 3 of them at their parents doorstep? 🫠🫠

And they are going to be raising children in this world. Being trips I would be finding out whether there is a higher chance of a multiple birth, the genetics etc. Surely, she would have gone to pre-natal classes or purchased parenting books, spoken with friends if they have any. Wait till the first time sex happens after she has healed from her c section, that's going to be a ride.

This!!!
Lol friends! They have that one shared BFF and their “little cousins” who are males and by all accounts not “little” just slightly younger than them 🙄

In the birth episode she also said that it turned out one of the midwives was someone she went to school with. So she requested a new midwife. So they had to find a new one. Then when she was wheeled into theatre it turned out she knew 3 of the people in the room anyway!!

ahhh this so SOOO ADELAIDE, they think it's a city, but it's really just a big country town

I can't believe she didn't know you'd bleed after a c-section. Maternity pads are for everyone and not just for the first few weeks! Did she think you somehow got sealed up with the stitches?

How ridiculous! Unless they were awful to you at school, who cares? Dehumanised by having a pad changed? I’m assuming no one milked them to get the colostrum flowing for baby? Not knowing about the bleeding after a C-section seems crazy. And electing to have a C-section in the public system was almost impossible, I thought. I had friends who had to request one due to severe mental health issues and another with prior birth trauma and it was still difficult.

She seems like such a diva princess! Is this the one whose parents in law don’t like her?
I wonder what all their husband’s families think of their sheltered, prudish daughter in laws?! 🤔🧐

I just don’t understand why you’d willingly opt for major surgery when there wasn’t any specific reason a vaginal delivery wouldn’t be optimal

Definitely not down-playing how serious a surgery a c-section is (I’ve had two emergency c’s), but sometimes people are genuinely anxious and terrified at the thought of the unpredictability of birth.
My friend has been diagnosed OCD and the thought of not being in control of when she gave birth or what could happen vaginally scared her so she opted going private and electing for a c-section (and she knew there were just as many if not more risks electing, but she still had some control over it all by choosing to do it), and she had what she calls the perfect birth and recovery because she was so much calmer about it all.

Not saying Kate has OCD or anything of the sort, but sometimes anxiety of the unknown gets the better of people 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s a common failure on the health systems part by not offering support and giving the individual all the options and recommendations. Yes people are given c sections for mental health reasons. However. In this context. Kate just screams the old school “too posh to push”. Lol. And her naivety around basic postpartum bodily functions reinforces it.

Agree I definitely think this is the case in her situation 🙄
