Have you seen her stories this week? She's friends with that couple in Galway who have received hundreds of anonymous letters over the last couple of years, crazy stuff. The letters are full of abuse and sounds like the person knows all about them, terrible situation. She shared on her stories about it and now she's being mentioned in the letters, I've a feeling she's going to find out who the person is!

Susan is her friend from Loughrea. I heard her and her husband on the radio a couple of months ago. It's a really mental story, someone locally has been sending them letters, I'll link the story here as I'll be waffling shite!

I read in one of the articles with the family involved, that they have a fair idea who it is but can't doing anything without solid proof. I would imagine in a small community like that they all know as people talk. TBH if I was having to be putting up with that freakish shite for years and was fairly sure who it was, I wouldn't be remaining silent either!
Whoever it is, I hope its the case the person has serious mental health issues and not doing it because of pure evil and jealousy etc. Hopefully he/she will be found out soon and punished according. Its must be a psychological nightmare for the family.

Sounds like the person has had some family tragedy, she mentioned that yesterday and that people would be conflicted because of that. I'm absolutely bet into it. Why do they not have a private investigator following this one, she has to be going to the post box/office - I'd do it for free, anyone in?
So invested in this story since discovering it yesterday. Only a matter of time before this person is caught. Ireland is a very small place. I live 3 hours from Loughrea and all I had to do was a quick google search and it gave me this persons full name as a related search option. Another google of their name and everything seems to add up, spouse appears to be a Garda and lots of news articles about the family tragedy which I actually remember happening at the time & agree that it will cause mixed opinions due to the timing of it happening vs the timeline of the letters starting.
However, it doesn’t excuse what this person has put this family through and they need to be held accountable for their actions as well as getting the professional help they need to deal with their own grief and issues.
