Sorry if this has already been said, it’s my first time posting in this thread

is anyone else with an ED history just sick of Olivia? She stated in a video not long ago that she has in fact had a problem with eating after denying it for ages, so why tf as someone with such a massive following does she continue to post body checks, talk about being fat etc?? OBVIOUSLY I know what it’s like, but she’s got hundreds of thousands of followers - surely she knows she should be a bit more responsible than spouting all the stuff about her weight to all those people, a lot of them being impressionable young girls? Especially also when she lives with flossie who spoke of her own ED experiences.

Sorry if this sounds harsh or insensitive - it is worrying, and I really hope she will one day get the help she needs as she is so beautiful and I wish she could see it, but I’m just fed up of it.

i find it mad how easy it is for olivia to lie and fool everyone. She practically lies about everything and is one of those girls who can get away with murder because they play things off or make sarcastic jokes about it to make themselves seem innocent. I used to love her but i’ve noticed that she’s just not the best person and i don’t know why she posts about things if she is going to lie about it, why say anything at all?

Completely agree with this! I struggle with an eating disorder and the fact she constantly calls herself fat or even ‘obese’ when she is actually underweight in my opinion really makes me feel tit about myself. I get she’s trying to be funny but it’s really not when you have such an impressionable audience.

Mercedes convertible, dunno what type but she showed it in her video - so you can probably find out from that
i wrote it in the other thread its a mercedes 2018 slc , new around £50000 and used around £20/30000

Ellis watts did mention on live last week that he was on FaceTime to Olivia the day after Christmas (or Christmas weekend not 100% sure) so maybe that could have something to do with Spencer unfollowing her?

i wouldnt think so. most likely the video being leaked

If you find her videos triggering, don’t watch them. The best advice for ED sufferers/recoverers

to be fair, I was recommended one of Olivia’s videos (I had never heard of her before this) by YouTube. I watched it, I think it was a clothing haul? Anyway, she was complaining about how fat she was etc. I consider myself recovered from anorexia but even I found it triggering because she is smaller than I am and she is referring to herself as fat.
Even in the height of my ED, I had enough self-awareness to not publicly call myself fat even when I believed it myself, because I knew how harmful that could be to others. I am not an influencer and do not have a high number of followers.... if I was then I would have been even more careful.

IMO, it is irresponsible to be speaking like that when she has a large platform and a lot of her audience will be part of a demographic which is seeing an increase in EDs (as in, they’re becoming more common). Influencers should be responsible for the things that they post (wishful thinking I know, but 🤷🏼‍♀️). I hope this makes sense, I’m rubbish with wording things.

Telling people who have struggled or are struggling with an ED to avoid her content is well and good but in order to do that, someone actually needs to have found her first, which means they have a likely chance of being triggered? I avoid her content now and just read here but I only do that because I already found her content harmful.

Well said. If people wanna be influencers so badly, then they have to deal with the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

I get that. Fair enough if it’s your first and last time watching. But there’s multiple people who post about it time and time again who should’ve really learnt not to watch by now. Sorry you ended up finding it without looking for it though, that must’ve been a bit of a kick in the teeth when it wasn’t what you were expecting!

It's the constant flaunting of how she eats "SO MUCH" yet she's still so 'skinnnnyyyy' that is bare jarring. Just shut up. We see how little she eats and thats her choice, I'm not her mum to be telling her that its unhealthy (and to a certain extent I think shes aware its unhealthy). But stopping going on about as if the small figure is attained in a healthy way or even worse, alluding to the fact that she's big in any sort of way.

couldn't agree more. There was a similar discussion about olivia on flossie's thread.
I get that her ed is noone business and there's no point discussing the ins and outs of it on here but she also needs to stop flaunting it in every single video? I enjoy her vids but it's relentless, i think she should just skirt the issue more and make more of an effort like flossie does to avoid things that are triggering. (like if flossie has said in her vids that saying sizes is triggering surely olivia would be aware of that given they live together?)

I don't think there's an issue with her eating small portions (I myself eat small portions doesn't mean unhealthy necessarily) but what I can't get behind is her attaching the tiny portions to comments about her being "so fat" or needing a "flatter stomach" (literally impossible)... it's really irresponsible of her. And to blatantly lie about working out as well sets her skinny frame up as being down to her tiny portions or just "natural" and therefore unattainable for most people which is an awful example for her viewers young or old. I don't know why anyone would lie about working out... strange
