Currently listening to her audiobook which, as much as she's trying to emulate Dolly Alderton and the substance is pretty minimal, I am enjoying and it's quite relatable.
What I am struggling with is she's mispronouncing soooo many words, there must have been zero edit of the audio or even review of it; not even halfway and so far have heard peony, revered and attribute said wrong (plus a few others before I started noting). Pretty sloppy work for someone so keen to call themself author/writer/broadcaster etc etc

God that's awful. I guess they're just churning out stuff. How can someone who's clearly been to private school etc pronounce stuff so badly?
 
Does anybody listen to the podcast? I’m a fan of it, I sometimes wonder how good friends they are and get the vibe there’s tensions between them. I was quite surprised when they first made the podcast and I’d never known those three instagrammers really knew each other that well

Guessing this is everything is content rather than adulting?

I actually enjoy both of them, and I think there is some good reccs and opinions in EIC, I don’t Know who Ruchira is really but I know Beth as she used to be pretty popular on Twitter back in the day. But agree it’s a strange pairing, when I first started listening I didn’t clock who Beth was and then I realised she just used to have loads of viral tweets and I agreeit’s such an odd group as I have never seen them hang out before, I wonder how they met?!

I don’t find tension between them just a bit of a lack of chemistry at times, and I think sometimes they review stuff having only read a chapter, or an episode and think ‘are they actually gunna continue’ lol
 
I actually loved her latest about Motherhood. She hit the nail on the head for me about how I'm feeling about being childless in my 30s.

Maybe I'm going soft 😂

I like and always listen to Everything is Content, but I find the guestless Adulting episodes unlistenable (and I used to like Adulting).
To be honest I can't really stand any one-person/guestless podcasts, it's just her rabbiting on for an hour and reading out messages, feels like just churning out content for the sake of it in my opinion.
Have to say I've always followed and had a soft spot for Oenone but she can be a rubbish listener which doesn't make her the best podcaster, but think she's got better. I do find the language they overuse on EIC a bit cringy, like they are trying to be cool (cunty, fuckable etc)
