Dublin hospitals save 500 of our children a year. For a place so small it’s pretty pathetic we haven’t got the facilities to treat these kids here. I see Leo says they’re going to make a financial commitment to fix the A5 for us too.

That’s only the lucky ones, the southern healthcare system is as bad as our own I know a young fella literally died on a chair with his feet propped up on a wheelchair because they had no beds, this fella was seriously ill after a stem cell transplant .

Well if it’s bad as our own then the NHS is no reason to remain in the U.K. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 it’s pretty clear at this stage they want to privatise it. I’ve been paying privately for our dental care for 20 bloody years. Not an exaggeration.

We have to pay when we’re working, my kids have never needed any extractions so luckily a big saving there.
We’re not at this stage just yet….Least we’re getting shite service for free, imagine having to pay for it.

I just went on a Google and realised the first one was written in 1970. I always assumed it was an early 90’s book to put us off.
There was another book as well which I can’t remember the name of where a sister had some sort of disability and died- in the book it was sort of hush hush I think. I can’t remember the name of it.
Also had goodnight mr tom-which was made into a drama. Its genuinely worth a read/watch
