Does anyone know her friend Jenni who now works there doing brows? I used to go to a salon years ago where Jenny worked as a hairdresser and she was such a lovely girl but she seems to be morphing into Nikita now.

Not me personally but heard enough stories in my circle that its not a pleasant place to visit.. not professional. The beauty industry in Derry in general is very bitchy…it’s crazy.

Been a lurker here for a while but I used to go to her salon for hair extensions. I actually loved my hair but the atmosphere in there was awful, the girls hardly spoke and it was like they didn't even want to be there. It made me so uncomfortable, trying to make conversation was like pulling teeth. Can't deny the salon is lovely and whatever else but herself, can't say the same

As a protestant living in the Derry/Londonderry area, I find it shocking that a business page is posting controversial songs such as "celtic symphony" by the Wolfe tones. Now I'm not a soft touch by any means and can stand the constant celtic top's but this was a marathon too far for me. I have friends from both sides of the divide and i am not one sided by any ways or means.
I have been thinking about getting a weave for sometime and to be honest this has completely ruled her out of who I would think about giving my damn hard earned money to.
Clearly a very sectarian individual.

Now I'm not one to be sticking up for Nikita but she's entitled to have her religion/beliefs or whatever you want to call it, is it not a song to celebrate celtic winning, is she not aloud to do that? I think your reading a bit much into it for someone who isnt one sided? After reading all this thread and that's the only reason your not wanting to get a weave done I think that's very small minded to judge someone off a song! Never mind the fact she left some if us half bald

The song used is not a song to celebrate celtic winning..you must be unfamiliar with the lyrics- "Ooh ah up the 'RA, say ooh ah up the RA" ..
As I said I'm no wet cloth and I'm more than open to having a bit of crack but I think content like this should be left off a business page, considering people from all over the country with different religions and beliefs are the ones to pay her bills.

I'm very familiar with the lyrics but I simply don't find them offensive, the song was written to celebrate 100yr anniversary of the club so I think the song does celebrate celtic.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion just as they are entitled to have their own religion and beliefs.
I think people are far to easily offended these days, I however would not let that be the reason I wouldn't give her my business but each to their own
