Seriously though I'm so pleased, not just personally because I loved it and them. But for everyone involved and for gay media as I really feel it stood out from everything else that's either stereotypical or depressing in depicting gay love.

I'm a bit sceptical if I'm honest, it has a lot to live up to. But bring it on!!

we’ve said here a lot i know that the story is gonna really need to hold up, and that still stands i think. it’s gonna be a tricky one to get a full plot that doesn’t involve relationship drama (almost positive that it’s going to involve alex running for president though).

i’m sceptical about the film itself BUT very happy for them that they’re going to get the chance to do it “right” and have a premiere/the ability to promote it etc if that makes sense.

and also BLONDE NICK and you know how i feel about that DO NOT MAKE HENRY BRUNETTE.

(i’m going to work in such a good mood now 🤣)

I think they need to focus on Alex more (and no I'm not just saying that for Taylor 🤣). He had it too easy really , both in acknowledging his sexuality but also in being accepted in a very conservative USA. I don't mind some drama of 'how do we make this work' , but I don't want just a rehash of the first movie or some stereotype 3rd person try and split them up. Alex is probably too young to run for president, but maybe something at state level?

yeah! like senator, maybe? i’d just like them to give him more depth in general; he has so much in the books and i still think that the movie focused a little too much on henry’s emotional journey whereas everything seemed to come too easy for alex (and he really just went with the flow). more alex angst for me please! (not relationship angst though 🤣)

oh and MORE SHAAN!

Yes, I guess leaning into the royal aspect helped sell the movie the way lifetime movies do. But it's so much more than that.

YES to more Shaan, preferably in underwear at least once! He follows Nick as private secretary and Zahra world for Alex so we get Zahra and Shaan comedy (and bedroom scene).

Also, maybe Bi Buck from 911 stops by 🤣🤣

there is a small and VERY SAFE fire in the white house and so buck has to stop by with eddie and also carlos is there for some reason. the sprinkler system goes off so they’re all soaked through. i’ll contact amazon right now 👌🏻
