I know of her from college times, she’s a year and a half older than me and when I saw that article about acting as if she would be so young getting married I had to roll my eyes at her being deceiving about her age. Getting married just before your 30th birthday is a typical age . I’m not engaged but is anyone else surprised by how many people are pushing 2020 weddings to 2021 and then 2022. Maybe I don’t understand but I would be allergic and just want it over with at this stage. It’s one day after all.
 
I see Niamh is now an expert on Anglo-Irish relations, putting up shite about the Queen’s rule! 🙄 she’s nowhere near intelligent enough to be delving into that matter, stick to the fake tan, Range Rover and other shallow topics. I’d say she has such notions of grandeur about her wedding that she thinks it’ll be a bigger deal than Harry and Meghans. It’ll be more like a tacky, OTT big fat gypsy wedding than a Royal one! 🥱

Yep coz majority want the wedding and not that bothered about the actual marriage! Fickle.

The way things are now with covid a wedding seems completely out of reach. We can’t go beyond 5k, see our our family/friends, do anything we enjoy. People are stressed and worried about contracting covid. I for one wouldn’t be going ahead with a wedding in these circumstances. Of course it is all about marrying the person u love but it’s also a special day to spend with family and friends and a day you wanta look back on with fond memories. I would assume that she must be allergic as many brides are. Many brides I know aren’t concerned about the big day but simply want their close friends and family to be able to safely attend. Current restrictions don’t allow for that.
Niamh’s error was telling us all she didn’t care about numbers etc and that the wedding was going ahead it was all about marrying tj and then turning around and doing the exact opposite.

Agree with this. We were lucky enough to have our wedding a few years ago with everyone we wanted there. If we were to have it now, with current restrictions, we wouldn’t even be able to have both sets of immediate families there, let alone friends. So I do understand why people are postponing. I have friends who have postponed 3 times now and while there have been comments made about how the big day is obviously more important to them than the marriage, the truth is that they really want to celebrate with those who are important to them and 6 , even 25, just doesn’t allow for that.

I totally understand all of that , its horrible and extremely stressful and unfair. The 6 at weddings and 10 at funerals right now is shocking.
But im just surprised at some people being engaged for 2+ years and then pushing it back another 2 years for a big day. I personally wouldn’t do that.
But everyones situation is different. Some people are conscious of age and having children , others are not.

I also agree lots of people just want a relaxed, safe day and its not about numbers, but plenty (of influencer types anyway) seem to want the show, because they think everyone cares so much about their day. But at the end of the day, people go to dozens of weddings, and your wedding...is just another wedding!! So don’t put your life on hold for it.. would be my opinion!
 
I’ve postponed four times (due to get married 2 weeks ago) and we’ve decided to take it out of covids hands and get married in 4 weeks with just us and our parents. Nobody else.

We will have another “wedding” in December with all of our family and friends, we’ve paid for everything all along so we’ve cars paid for that is totally non refundable. So we will use them in December.

To us it’s about getting married but the second date is going to be because of our family and friends want to share our day, plus the money is already spent.

All for raising awareness, god knows it’s a topic that needs to be discussed but putting your logo under tweets you’ve robbed of other people’s opinions is a bit ridiculous no?! And is that last quote one from Niamh or did she rob that too and put her logo on it?! Bizarre behaviour

She’s some dose. Loads of influencers are sharing similar posts but she’s the only one I’ve seen who has used it as an excuse for self promotion by stamping her logo on the tweets that don’t even belong to her 😂. Is she oblivious or thick as shite? I can’t quite figure it out but either way it’s in bad taste
 
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one think this.

All for raising awareness, needs to be done and so many people are doing it on Twitter/insta it’s great.

But the Brown Range Rover saw it as a branding opportunity. All those pictures/quotes/tweets have been created/shared by others.
She went to the effort of adding that tacky NbD like its a sticker they put on your sandwich at a deli to other people’s tweets. So classless.
