He seems very middle class, I suppose. I would also consider him posh because where I am from down the country nobody would be as well off or speak as posh as him if that makes sense. I agree Ireland doesn't really have a class system like in the UK for example, but seems to me like in Dublin there kind of is a bit because there are more well off people in Dublin. Or if you compare some country people with someone from a middle class part of Dublin.
She seems to have changed her accent to a posh one as well. So yeah I agree she is lacking in her own sense of self and identity. I'd say that mainly boils down to her having no real job and no sense of purpose.
