I can't get over how quiet everywhere has been. I've had some fun work trips this week to Palmerston North, New Plymouth and little towns in between, and am now in Taupo. Even Taupo isn't as busy and bustling as it usually is at this time of year. Such an odd vibe.

I’m excited for Christmas because my children make it magical again, and it brings back memories of my own childhood.
What I’m not excited for is my LONG to-do list and not enough days between now and Christmas to do it.
I put my hand up to host this year (idiot) so now I need to CLEAN top to bottom which is a nightmare with children following you and undoing all your hard work 😂
Plus I know the responsibility of food and wrapping presents will fall on me, just like the responsibility of purchasing all the presents fell on me.
And my husband? He will probably mow the lawns, clean the gutters, and fix a random piece of machinery in the shed … you know, all the important jobs that need done 😂😂😂😂

He wil be as surprised say the kids on Christmas morning when opening their presents hahah

lol I noticed the drop, and wondered what happened there 🤣

It also doesn’t upset my extra sensitive skin, so it does what she claims

The spf doesn’t upset it too, but I want it tested by NZ standards as we all know many on the market don’t actually have the level of cover they claim

Excited, in that sicky kind of way you feel when queueing for a roller coaster that's purported to be a blast but you know is actually a little out of your league.

Presents are all set for click & collect for tomorrow... 🥴

Feels pretty bustly in the land of Auck!
