I don't mind nepo babies if super talented but most not.

Gallagher offspring going to be all over the place now.

Ewan Mcgregor's older daughters are model/actress and he made a panned movie with one, Clara. I never got how Clara was a model, nothing wrong with her but she's not model pretty.

It would be fine if they just blended in. But they seem to get top TV jobs with little to no effort; often starts with them on some crap Euro trip with their parent. With the 5 main terrestrial channels being pretty much dominant they just seem to be all over the place. Roman Kemp is the current most annoying one as he was gifted a mental health documentary then loads of presenting work.

The only nepo babies I like are Anais Gallagher who openly discusses and recognises her privilege while also having graduated from uni with an art history degree, and Susan Sarandon & Tim Robbins son (can’t remember his name, but he’s hilarious on TikTok)

Never thought I'd have to drag him, as a big fan of his early work....but I watched the new M Night Shyamalan movie last night....so disappointing and predictable. The whole thing just felt like a vehicle to promote his daughter's music, because the concert plot/setting made no sense, plot had more holes than a wheel of swiss cheese too.

Imagine making a whole ass movie with THAT MANY extras just to get your push your kid's singing career....lame!

Never thought I'd have to drag him, as a big fan of his early work....but I watched the new M Night Shyamalan movie last night....so disappointing and predictable. The whole thing just felt like a vehicle to promote his daughter's music, because the concert plot/setting made no sense, plot had more holes than a wheel of swiss cheese too.

Imagine making a whole ass movie with THAT MANY extras just to get your push your kid's singing career....lame!

As soon as I saw the trailer I knew it was just a vehicle for his daughter.
I'm glad I put off watching it!

What gets me is the people who deny it's a thing, like Kate Winslet saying her daughter was cast in a TV series with her based on talent and not connection as they didn't publicise their relationship. She looks exactly like her and has the same surname as Winslet's ex!

Or Gwyneth Paltrow saying she's "had to work twice as hard" because both her parents were famous .

I like Anais tbf, but Liam’s sons seem like a pair of knobheads. I also don’t mind Meg Ryan’s son (Jack Quaid?) who’s in The Boys and will happily acknowledge his privilege while also being good at his job. Least favourite is Kaia Gerber who seems to be popping up in all kinds of stuff these days and is as wooden as plank but insists that she gets parts on talent alone and North West, as someone’s already posted. I know she’s only a little kid but she looks like an absolutely insufferable brat. Oh, and nearly forgot Bono’s daughter who had a major Twitter meltdown when she was mentioned in that Vanity Fair (?) article about nepo kids.

Aye Lennon & Gene Gallagher are just twats like their dad. One was involved in a racist incident involving a shopkeeper with Ringo Starr’s grandson a while ago if memory serves me correct. Totally agree about Jack Quaid being a good egg.

Same with Will Smith having his kids star alongside him. Thankfully I don't think they ever really took off but he kept trying.

Went to see him a few years ago. Utter tit. Rehashed material from previous years that had been on Netflix. It was like he couldn’t be arsed. We left at the interval.

We saw Jack live earlier this year and it was very hit and miss to say the least. I’m not sure if it was a warm up show as it went to London after but there was a lot of dead time.
I also watched the becoming a dad series with him and Michael and sadly even that was almost unwatchable at times. The bit with the midwife showing him a simulated birth was just so awful where you could see she was getting really pissed off with him goofing about in the background for laughs. Shame really cos travels with my father was really funny.
