I hope we finally find out what is in Karl and Susan’s blue box! 😂😂😂

Whilst I agree with Jackie that the current cast can wrap the show, it would be nice to tie up loose ends and catch up with favourites. I think Kylie and Jason would steal the show if they came back but they could be included via music selection.

I’d love to see Mark, Paige, Piper and Tyler, Vanessa and Lucas, the original house of trouser, Lou, Oliver and Carmella, Elly, Pierce, the entire Kennedy family and the various waifs and strays they have taken in over the years.

There are so many rumours flying around it's hard to keep up.. I did hear though that a big secret comes between Susan and Carl. Then there was something said about him not really being a doctor. If that's the case he has hid it well ..Part of me wants them to live happily ever after. I don't know what it matters in the grand scheme of things... Tried Home and Away just couldn't take to it, so gone back to one of the UK's oldies Emmerdale to fill the Neighbours shaped hole that will shortly be left..😭

I think that rumour was just Alan Fletcher joking on This Morning when Philip Schofield asked how it would end!!

Lucy is in it sporadically.
Daniel (sure that was his name) lived with Paul as did his sister and they were Scott and Charlene's children, so he must still keep in touch, plus his brother is now there. Daniel is married to Imogen (Therese's daughter) so there are connections there.
 
I honestly don’t see that many ex characters coming back even ones with current connections. Even bringing back loved characters with those current connections (Piper and Tyler. Mark and Paige etc) is still going over shadow the current cast imo.

As I said in a previous post there’s plenty who’ve either moved on to bigger and better things and can’t commit because of other projects or who’ve given up acting and probably aren’t that fussed over coming back for an odd episode of a show that’s ending. This isn’t including people who’ve fallen out with the show or those who’ve had bad experiences.
It’s nice that Harold will make one last appearance and it would be lovely to see Lou as well although i don’t think Tom Oliver is in good health which is why he retired some years ago.

I’d be happy if it was just old characters sitting in the background at the waterhole or at Harold’s to be honest. Just seeing them all as “good neighbours” and catching up after all these years.

it would be nice to see Lou and Harold sitting at the waterhole catching up with Karl and Susan whilst another scene is going on for instance.

Thanks for that. I missed out on alot, including a number of Paul's wives! Was just beginning to dig in to a few back story's when it was announced about the axing so thought what's the point! I certainly missed out on alot of drama with Susan and Karl over the years! I was reading what had happened to them and it made my head spin, same with Toadie!

Ha, I just watched the clip of it and fell for it. Stranger things have happened in soaps, although with people distrusting of certain medical procedures at the moment as it is it really would not be a good idea .. At the moment Ramsay St residents are certainly keeping the hospital busy..
 
It is such a shame that Neighbours is being axed. I never watched it, I was more into Home and Away back in the day. But Neighbours was a comforting fixture, amongst the TV schedules. Good luck to all of the actors and actresses and people behind the scenes. They can feel proud that they created a well love show, that people will remember.

None of that fire episode made sense. If a door handle was too hot for Jane to open a door, how the F did Hendrix climb through a metal container to get to Mackenzie who had fire in the same room and then manage to pull her through despite the fire now following them up in to the vents. They would have been so hot!!!

true the episode didn't make much sense with a lot of it, and they could'nt take zara away in handcuffs with her mom or toadie shes only a minor
 
I haven’t watched Neighbours properly in years and years but I was a massive fan in the late 90s to mid 2000s. I can remember watching it again briefly in 2010 when Margot Robbie was in it.

However, the best storyline of all time was when Susan slipped on the milk and got amnesia. It was the perfect mix of heartbreaking and hysterical. Susan walking around thinking she was a 16-year-old girl and calling Karl “that old man”!

I’m really sad it’s ending.
 
Jheeze. I used to watch Neighbours when I was a kid in the 80’s, when it was on at 10:05 in the morning and then again at 5:15 in the evening. Perfect sick day fodder. I stopped watching it when it moved to Ch5, really sad it’s ending though. Pure nostalgia. I wish there was a way to watch it from the beginning again, that’s not on You Tube.
