Does Toad leaving need to go behind spoilers? I presume it’s big enough news for it not actually be a spoiler? Happy to keep it in one but it’s gonna be quite a while til it happens and I presume there’ll be lots of bts build up that can’t be avoided on social media :)
 
I don’t think it needs to be a spoiler, he was on This Morning yesterday talking about it. I’ll put what he said behind a spoiler just in case but obviously he didn’t reveal anything about the exit storyline
He wanted to leave before it got cancelled. He came back because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to have the show rescued
His exit will tie in with the one year anniversary of it being on Amazon, not the 40th anniversary
He is directing some episodes now
I got the feeling they are struggling to sell tickets to Toad on the Road

I think the reason Rebekah might leave now is because she sold up and moved back to the other end of Australia where she was originally from when Neighbours finished. She has a son still at school so also a lot for him. She has also been absent form Instagram for a while although I know her father recently passed away. They seem to have made Toadie & Therese turn a corner in their relationship so thought they might just give Toadie a happy story to bow out on if she were to leave too.

I’m wondering if Mackenzie is the one who dies since Georgie Stone was in LA after the Daytime Emmy Awards and now she’s in London. It would make sense since she wanted to leave anyway at the end of the OG run.

I think Neighbours is smashing it at the moment. I watch it on demand in the morning (usually before the school run when not school holidays as is now or daughter would be annoyed). It is knocking EastEnders out the park. There was a time I wouldn't miss that. Now I let them pile up and do a binge or just jump ahead at the moment.

Someone mentioned Toad on the Road and it looked like it was in Glasgow in Sept around my birthday but when I visited the site there was nothing there..
 
Can someone fill me in why things are awkward between Nicolette and Kiri?

I vaguely remember her from the finale.

They use to date and things ended badly when Nicolette started to flirt/out a men who she felt was controlling Kirl. But we never saw this part on screen.

It has been really good of late. I noticed their music budget has improved. They had an Arcade Fire song on the other day
