How did that thread get so big? He's not exactly A list (is he? I think he'd be a 15 pointer in the Pointless picture round with a risk someone would call him Ewan McGregor) and I had literally never heard of her. Is it because the tabloids picked it up and she's such a nutball?

I think it's more about 1) how entertaining the person is and 2) how much of a community forms on their threads - I mean barely anyone knows who Jack Monroe is outside of food media people and a handful of Guardian readers, and her threads go up to four hundred and something.
 
Totally off on a tangent, but him indoors proposed to Pamela Anderson once with a gummy ring. She said yes so clearly she wasn’t expecting diamonds 😂

My wedding ring came from a second hand jewellers, our wedding was so cheap I hired my dress. It has a pattern on it that bears a striking resemblance to cannabis leaves. I didn’t see it at the time but I do now. Part of me wants to replace it, I much prefer silver at this point as well, and he’s offered to buy me new but it feels a bit weird and a bit wrong so I’ve never done it. Kind of figured after 27 years I might as well stick with it.

I stopped reading when she started arguing that she wouldn’t try a timer of 10/15 minutes cleaning up as it wouldn’t achieve anything. You know what also doesn’t clean your house? Sitting on the internet arguing why you can’t do anything reasonable to help yourself.
