What was the big essay about?
You’re not going there because you researched, you’re going there because it’s FREE.

Perhaps I’m wrong and it is just a coincidence that after all your research you decided on this place and hey-ho they just happened to offer it all to you for free in exchange for the PR.

It won’t make want me to go there because I won’t get it free. The rest of us pay in the salons we go to so we aren’t going to rush to one that gives Insta huns (cos that’s what you are now Muireann) the treatments free. Not sure anyone wants to hear about your body hair removal journey anyway.

I died laughing a few weeks ago when they had a woman on talking about fast fashion and Muireann nearly killed herself talking about how it should be the governments and big companies and not the individual making changes while sitting there in her polyester, free iClothing ‘work outfit’. She’s very disingenuous - shouts at us all about feminism but no thought for the poor kid who made her shite clothes.

Did anyone hear this mornings gem? Two female guests on - a consultant gastroenterologist and a dietician - and Muireann goes ‘aren’t ye awful fancy there, those are very big words’ 😵
I had to rewind it to make sure I wasn’t hearing things. For a woman who bangs on about feminism I have never once heard her addressing two male guests in such a patronising way.
 
Just in general, very arrogant and 'worked in Cork' for years but was actually broadcasting from the spare bedroom in his house in Dublin, very rarely came down for promo or social media stuff. At the beginning he did when he was presenting with Jay but after that he stayed in Dublin. When he was down he was highly critical of staff that were doing tech support for him, and one refused to work with him after it. He always felt that station he worked for in Cork was beneath him when an actual fact they employed him when no one else would. He felt that he was the breakfast radio saviour. And the worst part is he was probably right about that given their choices since.

Can't speak to personal experiences as I would be easily identified by a few lurkers here

They were never close, they were paired up by a production company in the height of covid when it was convenient for both of them. Once joanne went back to London it wasn't sustainable

Also once joanne went back to the UK she never mentioned it again. Muireann was the one trying to resurrect it
