Also, I cannot imagine not giving my child a present to open on their birthday or making a fuss for when she woke up. She is literally a child. Appreciate she bought the cat but just something to open on her actual birthday.

I won't slate the Volvos. I have drove a hell of a lot of cars in a previous vehicle related job (from Fiat 500s to Lambo Urus and everything in between) and I always ordered a Volvo as my company car

The father of my little one did this when he saw her on her actual birthday - not even a card. Waited until he had her for the weekend.
