Mounjaro/Wegovy/GLP1 TikTokkers

To be honest this did confuse me, I thought she came off it when she was in hospital. She spoke as if she did.
Same, she’s been given mixed messages. Saying how the longer you are on the drug the worse it gets. Hiding taking it for 6 months after the worst experience so she says. It’s all click bait nonsense. She just gets caught out lying or fabricating.

she just gets called out. She speaks so negatively about Mounjaro but yet wants to try it again? After coming off it?

There is lots more negative coverage on TikTok. As with any prescription medication, people can get very serious side effects, and I really feel for anyone that’s happened to. If you’ve struggled with obesity for years, we all get desperate something with work - if it makes you ill, that that must be dreadful. but I think with a lot of these negative tiktokkers, there is also a lot of not taking it as prescribed, and also not eating / drinking appropriately whilst on it. That’s what can cause some of the extreme side effects. Not giving your body the nutrition it needs, and eating in a balanced healthy way. And it worries me this will put people off, for whom it could actually be a help!

Hahah just seen she’s posted this!
I don’t agree with directly trolling anyone tbf, hence why I post on here (and they choose to come here and read it) however if you post something on a public platform it’s only fair for people to have an opinion. At least I’m not the only one that can’t understand why she just inserts whole slabs of meat into her mouth and chews whilst it’s hanging out 😂😂 are we missing out on something? 🤔🤔

I find myself blocking or clicking not interested on mj TikTokers every time I open the app. Seen far too many on their first fortnight of the medication giving advise on how to deal with side effects, hardly any saying contact your provider or consult your GP. Some people seem to be on live from the moment they wake up til after I've gone to bed. I saw one woman get told by one of her kids that another one of her kids had wet themselves and she didn't seem phased whatsoever and didn't immediately pause or end the live which really annoyed me; if anybody knows who it was let me me know because TikTok decided to refresh my fyp when I held the screen in an attempt to block her.

Watching Charlie lose her tit over her account aka her money printing machine is so funny. The only reason she is upset is because she had money on that account, with the account gone she has lost access to that money too.

Watching these women go from genuinely sharing their journey and joy on MJ, giving updates and sharing their weightloss, then turning into TikTok wankers who are constantly shilling tit so they don’t have to do normal jobs is fascinating.

The minute they start getting any kind of following and they realise how easy it is to sell your soul for those commission paid/TT shop
Links/1 min videos they all turn into egotistical monsters.

Can’t wait until they clamp down on all of them.

Still in shock this is how they are trying to promote mounjaro for the pharmacies that sponsor them/wellguard

thinking about it now, do you think it’s possible Charlie got banned for the undeclared cloud pharmacy sponsorship? If so, I think the rest need to be reported.

the fact that prescription medication has been turned into a tik tok shop across many accounts is pretty disgusting tbh.

ASA confirmed Mounjaro can not be promoted as it’s a prescription medication. Katy is currently being investigated along with a bunch of others I reported in late summer.

these Mounjaro tiktokers don’t care about being genuine, they are in it to make quick money. I noticed Charlie said she even has an agent now, who is working to get her account back.

it is only a matter of time before more Mounjaro accounts are banned.

Thank god for that: there are more and more starting off and they are infuriating. Just saw one, grim 2 slim or something and I just wanted to comment saying it will all go back on once you come off it. Bragging about losing 17lb in 3/4 weeks I think - no way is that sustainable or healthy. These new accounts are just copying the original accounts now. Just spreading like an annoying rash.

A lot of these Mounjaro “content creators” give big MLM energy. As so many of you have said, it’s a prescription medication, not Herbalife. So many people who are not in any way qualified to give medical or dietary advice have a platform to shill TikTok shop tat and peddle irresponsible misinformation. It’s cringy at best and dangerous at it’s worst.

Also, are any of you on the Mounjaro UK support group on Facebook? Some of the comments on there are batshit crazy.

At a big size, it's perfectly doable. It's not all fat but if you've gone onto meds and weren't dieting before, they'll be a lot of water weight and inflammation to drop.
The problem is after the initial whoosh, it will (and should!) slow down to 1lb-2lb a week. The problem is people are dumb, don't research and seem to think they'll lose a over stone a month because thats what someone of social media said. And then of they post they're not losing like they expected and people suggest fibre gummies or apple bloody cider gummies.

Used properly, It's an amazing medication, and can be life changing (but for many who lack natural GLP1) it's a life long medication and people need to understand that.

I don't really have an issue with people on TikTok posting and chatting with others (as for a lot it's not something they are comfortable talking about 'in real life') . But as soon as people get a certain number of followers they turn into a Doctor and start holding forums advising people.
I respect a few posters. That Americsn Lady Amy for one, but so many of the UK MJ TT get too big for their boots and act like their Jab Queens 🙄
