Mounjaro/Wegovy/GLP1 TikTokkers

Is there a GLP1 Tiktokkers rave thread? There’s one on support and one here but I don’t think rave if anyone wanted to make one to discuss who they like? Not me, clearly I’m not a fan of any of them. 😂 they need to put that energy they have into making videos about tattle life into actually researching the medication they are peddling.

Laynieeb is the only one I haven’t blocked or clicked not interested on! My journey ended 4 weeks ago now so I don’t get so much on my fyp but always watch hers still!
 
Tbf I like a lot of the GLP creators. I just wish some of them would realise it’s a prescription medication and stop posting videos of themselves eating the new McDonald’s menu/their daily calories in one sitting. It’s giving mounjaro a bad name, almost like the new slimming world toxic community where they would try and come up with syn free “tweaks”

It’s a serious weight loss medication not a fad diet - you don’t see gastric sleeve patients trying to see how much McDonald’s they can fit in and filming it 🙈 (at least I hope not)
 
Has/is anyone doing Monjaro after previous weight loss surgery? I’m so embarrassed to admit I paid 10K two years ago for a sleeve; lost 8 stone but two have crept back on..I’m hoping this might be a stepping stone back to goal but finding a provider is tricky as my bmi is under 30 without any conditions. Numan have agreed in principle but they have to review my photos first. I’d love some weight loss buddies!

This girl has the least sense. She doesn’t eat all day. She doesn’t give advice. She just wants the followers.

Have you ever wondered why she has a lot of people in her live? Because she pays for them.

Have you also ever seen her having a hissy fit because her videos haven’t got many views or her live is ‘quiet’? She’ll say ‘Oh tiktok must be broken, it’s very quiet in here’.

You will see through it soon ;)

Unfortunately these people come up on my feed constantly as I follow quite a few mounjaro accounts. I think voicing my opinions on a public forum is fair 🤷🏻‍♀️ they choose to read here 😂

It’s worrying the ones that say they don’t do any exercise, losing lean muscle mass is a one way ticket to gaining it all back as your calorie needs are drastically reduced as it’s the muscle that burns calories. I’ve blocked quite a few of them when they don’t get to the point quickly, or if they talk really slowly, or if it turns into QVC 🤪
 
I only downloaded Tiktok about 6 weeks ago purely for Mounjaro support.
The sales really surprised me, on me but I didn't realise how much of a sales platform it was.
I thought I was just like YouTube but shorter 😂

Not just MJ TTers but there are just complete randoms selling skincare and vitamins without any qualifications or training u can tell
They just read the blurb. Seems crazy.
I've used Nutrition Geeks Vits for a while, as they are decent and cheap (and on Amazon) but seeing how much they are hawked on TT puts me off (as in my mind in makes them seem a bit scammy)

I'm obviously too old for it all 😂

It's a shame you can't deactivate the shop part as its not something I'll use.

If I see one more advert for wellguard I will cry 😂😂

I do like some of the tik tok stuff - but realistically a lot of it is just cheap tat they are peddling.

also they are now making videos to bait us 😂 they really are rattled bless them x
 
It’s funny how a few posts on tattle have them rattled. Funniest videos are the MJ lot no one has heard of, making videos in support of the bigger accounts as a way of getting some residual clout and some followers.

Been on tiktok a while and it’s always the way. They all start to share their journey (fashion/weightloss/fertility/motherhood/careers/cooking etc etc) somewhere along the line they believe their own hype and start wanting to profit from essentially sitting at home talking to their phones.

This was the exact issue back in 2017ish when Slimming World instagram was a thing. They were all just desperate to be influencers than actually show their journeys
