Gosh where do I start! Sharon Horgan wrote Motherland and she's an amazing comedy writer. I'd recommend Catastrophe or Pulling if you want a similar vibe to Motherland.

I would also highly recommend Am I Being Unreasonable with Daisy May Cooper. Bloody excellent comedy/drama series.

very different, but 5 rooms and Bump (both australian but on iplayer) are good, very light hearted but at the same time realistic. And totally differnt, but also Australian (now on netflix) kath and kim, soooo funny!)

An oldie but a goodie, if you haven’t watched already, would be Green Wing. Slightly different humour but had me in stitches numerous times. Stephen Mangan’s character was always my favourite. It’s on All 4.
