Mother Pukka #8 Everything is a lie, isn’t it?

Absolutely not. I didn't care, my husband didn't care, my friends didn't care. We all went back to what we were before, give or take a pound or two, and that was that. I remember being amazed that I still looked pregnant the day after I had my first, and genuinely wondered if there was another in there that the doctors had missed. After that I was too busy being knackered/stressed and occasionally elated.
Went to the corner shop and a neighbour said “when’s the baby due” whilst looking at my massive belly I said he’s at home with his dad while I pop out 👀

On the calpol thing it’s 8 weeks but there’s also a weight on it as my son was light so I was worried about giving it to him when he had his 8 week jabs. As content is a preemie 🙄 you’d assume she would be too.
But as someone said if she’s sick enough to need calpol she shouldn’t be being dragged around outside

We all know Content “Three Seasons” Brettonhouse isn’t preemie though.

The irony of posting a photo with this caption when she is fake tanned, nails done, hair done, make up on. She’s totally oblivious to her privilege and so out of touch.

To any mums that follow her thinking this is normal weeks after birth, it’s not. Most of us are still in the ‘trenches’, pale and pasty from anaemia following the birth, boobs leaking, covered in baby sick / tit and struggling to find the time to wash our matted hair.

Really really irresponsible for her to post this kind of sh*t with the platform she has.
And wasn't the "accepting and loving our postpartum bodies" a huge part of the 2016-18 instamum rubbish they all peddled!? The only people I know in real life who have "snapped back" quickly have either just been lucky with their natural body type, or have done so in very unhealthy ways.

If she’s on the injectables now for her face, she’ll be on ozempic later to keep up with the MamaStillGotIt lithe types.

I’m looking forward to her hot takes on single motherhood in about a years time!
She won’t be single! That woman will move onto the next one, she can’t be single and that’s very obvious with 2 relationships where she fell in love after the first week. I mean when I split up with my husband and we were split up for 2 years I didn’t log onto any dating app, I was very happy to be on my own - MP needs to be codependent, you see it in her friendships too- very full on and then she drops them. Must have a baby then is bored once they are older. I’m very surprised she’s not in therapy to be honest but probably too much of a narcissist to see any of this and probably why she ditches friends- they probably tell her this and she doesn’t want to hear it so they’re then ditched!
