I was a big supporter of Molly, and I thought she was going to have a lot of potential with the new channel. Then I saw how she treated people in the parks. Coupled with her low-effort content and sprinkling in unneeded political opinions, I haven’t watched her videos in almost a year. I’ve unsubscribed from all social media too.

I've unsubscribed from her social media too as it was always so superficial and felt like a waste of eyeball use.
Taking a look again now... Yup. She perpetuates the false concept that millennials are superficial self centered people. I know otherwise as my oldest is her age, but she's not helping.

I am a little surprised they haven’t all gone to Japan because they talk about it a lot. Personally? I think they know it is a lot easier to shovel out content in their backyards than do a new thing that would require effort and planning.

I think Molly has upped her plastic surgery game as she really looks like she got fillers. Most of it is the usual “I picked this food for you” bullshit (which I might add is a retread of something she used to do with Quincy) or rock paper scissors. And meeting her quota of mentioning “I hate hot dogs and donuts and water rides” roughly ten times in each one.

Max hasn’t seemed to be in many videos even though I guess the relocation has already happened?

Food & Wine video was fine because Alan at least knows what he is talking about with food, and I am sure I would take his recommendations if I went.

Not So Scary Halloween video is the most classic Molly she has been in a while. I didn’t eyeroll once!

She did say in her Insta stories some time last week that they do have a trip for the 3 of them booked to Japan. I can't remember if she said when it was for though

I’d be curious to see how they do with that. The Trackers in Japan had a total fish out of water vibe and they even had someone taking them around who spoke Japanese. Just this summer Provost Park Pass did a really thorough job of Tokyo Disney and seemed comfortable navigating Japan, but he lived in Korea and Amanda used to live in China. Max has friends in Japan to take them around. All I remember from his Japan Super Mario video is him saying something like, I don’t speak Japanese or read Japanese but this is what other people have told me.

I don't expect them to leave their Disney/Universal comfort zone if they go to Japan. Kind of like when they go to NYC and just see Lion King and the Harry Potter store.

I think they will probably be OK. They neither as hapless nor as clueless as the Trackers, and Max has already been there.

Especially as noted above, it’s not like they will be seeing actual Japan. Although the Trackers couldn’t even manage the theme parks with a translator…

I used to watch all of Molly's vlogs. Since Alan has joined I can't remember the last one I watched.

It always astounds me when someone is successful and they want to branch out, and do a world-wide search for the best new talking head, they usually find them in their own household.

Max has been to Japan at least once so I think that will help at least a little bit, although not sure how much.

On an instagram story 'ask me anything" (I think) they said they will be vlogging some non-theme park content while there but also taking a day or two to themselves to just enjoy it without "working" .......

As much criticism they have taken here for not doing anything unrelated to Disney and Universal and their parks and IP, I think it's healthy to take time for yourself and enjoy. So I do hope they enjoy Japan. It's a wonderful country.

I was a big supporter too. I thought her leaving All Ears was a great idea. She then goes on and on about how scary it was and how she is so thankful for Alan and Max.
Weak.🤣 Names her channel something dumb and makes them a part of it. I can't stand watching Max. Which one is Max after?😬 Creepy guy. Alan is good at food but those stupid faces he makes. I skip most of the videos now. People followed her and now it's this whole other thing that is cringe.

TouringPlans sponsors some travel content. I know they have a deal with The Cruise Life on YouTube. But if I were then, I wouldn’t be doing free advertisement for TP, especially since they’re also a travel agency and that can introduce other issues such as editorial independence (as we’ve seen with TheDis)

Plus the salty asses of some folks here would mock them for doing a Patreon with ads.

My own salty ass will mock her for being a jerk to people, having $31.5k/month but unwilling to really spend on what might put them far above the competition, the name, getting a medal for NOT doing the Castaway 5k and whatever else comes up.
Maybe they’ll follow the Trackers and put ads in their livestreams.

Let's hope it is more natural than their podcast ads. The ads in their podcasts are awful. My kid listens and the ads are always just placed right in the middle of a thought not in a natural place at all. I would think their editor could plop it down in a more natural spot.
