anyone else notice how dodgy things look on companies house:

- her company “mmh lifestyle Ltd” is now MAEBE HOLDINGS

- MAEBE HOLDINGS is mostly owned by Mmh Group Holdings Ltd

- her other company Maebe Ltd is also mostly owned by MMH Group holdings Ltd.

-mmh group holdings is apparently media rep company

- molly is person of significant control for MMH group holdings Ltd.

- Maebe ltd is also owned by MMH group holdings ltd - updated sept 24.

-mmh group holdings is apparently media rep company.

this led me down a rabbit hole that’s there’s effectively 2 molly maes on companies house, I don’t see how this is possible as all her companies would be linked to her unique identifier, and that’s how tax etc is paid. All the holdings companies is defo to hide money/ not pay taxes. Coz why should millionaires who do nothing all day pay their way like the rest of us, they’re so use to getting everything for free why why should they pay taxes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not an expert on this but I understand it’s legal and quite common to have a holdings company and several subsidiaries. It ‘ringfences risk’ as if one of the subsidiaries goes broke the rest are okay. There may be tax benefits attached but it’s not necessarily dodgy.

Is that something to do with writing off taxes? I remember Lorraine Kelly got to write off lots of costs because she argued that she was a tv persona and had to buy “costumes” for it

It is a scheme to reduce tax but also a very normal thing when you need to bill different types of services and businesses, for instance you cannot invoice a brand that you charged for an AD trough the fake tan business, so without even digging the links I think they have

Business 1 - Influencer services
Business 2 - Fake tan
Business 3 - Aliexpress resale Clothing brand
Business 4 - Other resale stuff such as those Chinese case Termu stuff

It is grim but not illegal. I would not be surprised if she gets caught evading taxes at some point, is like a rite of passage for most influencers as soon as they start to fade out.

That’s a good point. As it’s weird for her to otherwise brand herself as that, as she wants to distance herself from her time on tv. I expected her to have put influencer or entrepreneur.
