I was debating whether to post or not, as I am usually a fan of Molly Mae. I attended the pop up on Saturday and thought I’d give you all a run down as I left feeling let down…

firstly, I spent the morning travelling down to London with my mum which took me about 3 hours so I went for the afternoon slot. From what I saw on IG on the train down Molly was very visible, taking photos with everyone, FaceTiming peoples friends etc and I was so excited. There seemed to be long queues to get in and Molly was coming outside and saying hi to everyone.
When I arrived at 3ish it was dead outside. There was an influencer manning the door, Steph Hampshire.

As I walked in I saw Molly straight away, she was mingling by the front door with her security guard. I got my phone out thinking she was going to make her way around and say hi to everyone and stop for photos. No. After her convo ended with this girl, her head went down and she went straight out the entrance. She LITERALLY avoided everyone.

She came back in after about 5 mins and it was clear she was trying to make her way into the back room where no one else was allowed but she kept getting stopped by people for pics. It was obvious she didn’t want to stop and chat but felt obliged too. Once she got through the crowd she went into the back room and didn’t come back out. Don’t get me wrong, I knew she wouldn’t be out 24/7 talking to people, but honestly you could see by the look on her face she had no interest in stopping and chatting.

the email following booking the ticket promised “styling sessions” these styling sessions were no where to be seen 😂 the clothes were just on hangers and I didn’t see anyone trying anything on. Also the goody bags weren’t goody bags, they were bags for people who bought the merch, which were maebe branded t shirts and vests which were £45 a pop. The only thing I came out the pop up with was some matches, and a nasty tasting Joe and the juice

sorry for the rant

I’d heard the clothes didn’t have fabric composition labels inside at the event lmao- wonder if it’s all polyester and acrylic cheapo fabrics… if they were good quality I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t be visible…
I saw a TikTok lastnight that was posted by another influencer who attended but all comments were from disappointed fans due to the lack of transparency about the material of the clothing & where the garments were made. The labels were blank so everyone who attended just awkwardly flipped over the label and moved on past the clothing. Nobody was paying attention to the clothing anymore because of the lack of information given and the focus was very much pointed in the direction of trying to get a photo of Molly and record the room for insta. Not to mention the disappointment in the price of those merch tshirts.

I rolled my eyes when I saw the random ‘aesthetic’ props Molly had her team place around the room. Just shows she has NO personality or personal style because what on earth is a magnifying glass, racquets, hourglass and backgammon board doing at a Molly Mae clothes event? Makes NO SENSE.

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I actually think a lot of it is fake. Even down to some of the jewellery. So many celebrities and influencers buy knock off - even if they can afford the real deal. It’s all about keeping up appearances. I’m not saying that MM isn’t extremely wealthy, of course she is. But I think about her listings on Vinted or Depop - £600 trainers that she sells on for £40, that screams fake to me. If the argument is “well she doesn’t need the money so she can sell things cheaply”, surely that would go for everything… she could afford to sell her clothing range for pennies as she doesn’t need the money, she could sell her fake tan for really cheap as she doesn’t need the money etc. Regardless of your wealth, she has a child and Bambi’s future to think about. If you had a genuine pair of £600 shoes and you could get £300 for them instead of £40 to put away for your child’s future, you would do that surely? X
You have to remember - this wasn't her selling on depop to fans out of charity. It was a sponsored advert with depop. They (depop) will have paid her far far more than she would have made by re-selling her stuff at the original prices I imagine.

And by selling at these very cheap prices, fans are actually able to have the ability to buy and therefore will go onto depop and then maybe browse and buy other stuff. It's all about driving as much traffic to the app as possible.

She is extremely wealthy. She has a net worth of around 6-7 million. Chanel bags are like 5-7k a pop. 20k for a Hermes bag. Nothing for someone like her

Deffo all real. Her house is worth like 4 million and that's before she gutted a load of it and re-did it all. Her jewellery collection probably comes to like 500k altogether from the pieces we've seen her wear.

Influencers who have a much less of a following have Hermes handbags. They are actually around the same price as a Chanel now it’s just the resale market is really high. The colour she has isn’t a neutral or an exotic leather so she probably got it by walking into store.
Freya killin has about a 10th of her following and has probably more Hermes and Chanel handbags than Molly so I think all her stuff is real

What in the Brideshead Revisited is that? Molly babes, aesthetic isn't aestheticing!
I think Molly wants her clothing to appeal to the ' weekend in the country type' , moving away from PLT and how she achieved the fame and money...it's sad to see her try so hard.
The girls you want buying your clothes and aspire to be like...would not be seen mucking the horses out in your merch!

It can work, the whole 90's oversized suit look...
Or you end up looking...

But some how that 90’s oversized blazer still fits, there’s no hand in pockets to stop the trousers falling down! That 90’s size blazer was overly long & not “fitted“ ie around the waist, but it’s not wearing Julia Roberts. - I wore them like that in the 90’s.

The 2020’s look is more small child wearing mum or dads clothes

That’s one of those pictures that will haunt you for life 😂
