Why would she want to have her baby so far away from home? Knowing how easily things can go wrong during labour you couldn’t pay me to go private. if there’s an emergency aren’t you taken to an NHS hospital anyway?

i highly doubt she’s in london to have the baby. i don’t think she would a) take the train there and b) post that she’s there/have tommy post anything. i think she will keep completely quiet when the time comes.

I don't care how much money I have I'd rather give birth through NHS than private any day I've heard such horror stories and a lot of the time if there's complications they have to rush you to the closest hospital anyway because they aren't equipped enough.

As I understand it the great problem with the Portland is that it doesn’t have an A and E - so yes if there’s an emergency you have to be ambulanced to an NHS hospital. The reason the Private wing at Chelsea and Westminster and the Lido wing at St Mary’s Paddington are so popular is that they have direct access though the facilities in the private wing aren’t nearly so luxurious. So it’s basically a risk.

Oh yeah! I thought maybe it was just the head rest but the table is totally different!!

Definitely the same train, the tables are different though. Maybe the photos were taken at different tables, or on a connecting train.
