I've seen Tommy's supporters say that and also that he refused to take a dive. If either was the case I doubt Tommy's camp would keep quiet about it. They certainly wouldn't make up such a flimsy excuse that makes Timmy seem like a wuss just to save Jake Paul's 'integrity'. I think he dropped out because losing to Jake Paul would be highly embarrassing.

John called out and addressed the drug thing a while ago on YouTube but said it didn’t matter to them that was in the contract and they signed it anyway as Tommy would beat him if Jake was on drugs or not, so doubt it’s that.
