Its just part of his usual fake ‘we’re so relatable’ schtick. So your flights were delayed. Get over it. You have just come back from a luxury (probably heavily discounted) holiday in Greece.
And the poor poor Hoopers, how awful that the magical food fairies didn’t stock up the fridge.
Agreed! The rest of us stock up on supplies whether 3 hour delay or not ! We make sure food is in fridge before we go!

WHAT THE duck IS GOUSTO PLAYING AT

Belly laughing at this ... come on Gusto you knew they would be home today and require Squid ink pasta with a light sauce !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

To be fair MOD had work Monday. No matter how much I dislike her and although she only does one shift a week that shift is still 12 hours of intense work and the human body can only do so much.

Bet as tough as the delay was they’re rubbing their hands together now! What a great way to convince their followers they’re just like them...especially off the back of a luxury holiday that could have alienated some.

It os hard when you are working as well with children - i have done it . my husband worked nights and i worked days - he stayed up and made sure they was all at school and nursery - he went to bed and got up again at Lunch to pick youngest up from nursery stayed with him till i got home and he went and had another few hours in bed . Then went to work at 7pm . But you know what we did it together - no handouts - no gifted - no free holiday - nothing . My son has graduated Law - my daughter is a Social worker - another daughter a nurse another daughter at uni and another daughter at uni . We did it - i didnt once expect my husband to do anything- and he didnt me

Typical MOD style - have a sleep while FOB looks after the twins 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Selfish selfish mare and nothing else ....
My eyes are rolling that far back i can see my brain 🙄 View attachment 37830 q

Would you make the same comment if FOD was asleep and MOD watched the kids? I mean, seriously, why can't one of them nap!? Just comes across as 'a womans place is with the kids' type comment which is just ridiculous. They're no more her responsibility than his.

Yes I would say the same in reverse if they portrayed themselves the other way round. FODs descriptions of what happened make the division of childcare seem grossly unbalanced and that she is a lazy women and he does the majority of childcare. As he is driving home it would be wiser for him to be napping. She is napping and he is then driving (when she could nap) so the way they’ve portrayed it, he appears yet again to be doing everything. He dealt with wet twins, he didn’t take the right stuff blah blah, but she was there to so THEY didn’t pack correctly for the flight.
And as for her having to go to work for a 12 hour shift, dear god. She’d had a week of holiday not a week of hard labour. My holidays are akin to being in a harder place than normal with no dishwasher and terrible beds, fun for kids but harder work for me and my husband. They had a luxury holiday. The flight was ONLY delayed 3 hours!!! If they got back at 5.45am they’d have been expecting to get back at 2.45am, hardly restful. And presumably this was early Sunday morning so she still had a day and night before work and I’m sure Simon let her go to bed early. Honestly I don’t think we need to worry about saintly Clemmie getting in 3 hours later from holiday than she’d expected.

Perhaps the comment was because FOD always seems to be the parent that takes care of the children, especially in stressful type situations. The reality could be different but that’s what is portrayed to us.

I’m all for teamwork between parents, it’s how we operate here, we’re both equally as good at caring for the kids and it’s pretty much 50/50 outside of work.

They create a lot of their own stress with holiday travel - they seem to go for late flights where everyone will be tired and cross. Presumably for lower fares and to get an extra few hours holiday time.

If they flew at more child friendly hours, it would be a lot easier.
To be fair, there's never a good time of day to fly with young kids, but I'm really surprised with MOD being a HCP, you'd think she'd be more adept at preparing for hiccups and thinking ahead.

Exactly. I have always flown at reasonable hours with my children and still do now they are teenagers, and not just for their sake: I myself want to be able to start my flight well rested and arrive somewhat fresh either at our holiday destination or at home. You just pay more. And while that may not be for everyone I am quite sure the Hoopers can afford it.

I suspect things are more 50/50 behind closed doors. Doesn’t he still work outside the home FT (or near enough)? Yes, they have help but she is still the parent at home the most. It suits BrandHooper for her to present herself as the bohemian, cool ‘have it all’ career woman influencer, as per her ‘lifestyle’ insta brand. Whereas he has made a lucrative sideline out of his ‘hapless dad’ schtick. As daft as it seems, because it seems chaotic, this is the curated vision they want us to see. I doubt it is the reality of their family dynamic.

Totally agree. Screens can be fantastic for saving a meal out or a long journey but these kids are literally strapped in with headphones on and big screens in front of them all over the place. My little girl the same age has never had a device with headphones put on her. But I have deployed my phone with peppa pig here and there! They are just encouraging the children to depend on insular devices even when travelling in the car. My daughter sings and chats as we go.
Another thing about these people that is starting to grate is how easy they have it. When I travel my little boy has ASD and can’t cope with unexpected changes to routine and customs and so many little things (colour of toilet paper 🤔) and travelling really is very hard work, these people don’t know they are born!
The homeless comment was awful,

Also from their posts, nursery trained the twins so they are in nappies at night. I imagine the delay through them as they flew through the night instead of the evening so we’re probably expecting to put twins in nappies for the car journey home. They just sound unprepared for the time delay and like they didn’t consider the twins needing the nappies on the plane. Probably just oversight.
I think the thinking around nappies has changed I know some children in them over the age of three ( at night) and was told you have to wait until the nappy is dry 🤷‍♀️ Don’t know if this is true each child gets there in the end it’s his stupid fault for not packing them

They'll be switching to Hello Fresh quick smart
Why not just stock up on stuff like paste and sauces for a quick meal before you go for when you get back or is that too common 🤔 why do I bother it’s all bollocks anyway 😂😂

Yes i would! Please re read my comment - the point i was making was she felt entitled to nap- they have twins - take the nap when you get home or as greywolf said in the car when the kids are probably napping ?

I dont see how you got i was suggesting that a womans place is with the kids ? 🙄

Because you said ‘selfish MOD sleeping while FOD looks after the kids’ which to me came cross as judging her for leaving looking after the kids to their Dad.
