I've been following this one since the Mail began covering it but I'm not sure splashing it all over the national press would encourage someone in the position of being in the Facebook group but staying quiet for whatever reason to come forward?

This feels like one of those cases that will never be solved. I do think he's very much dead but the lack of a sure answer would kill me if I were in the mum's position so I understand her refusal to stop.

Probably just as likely it's some nutter or nutters sending her messages for fun. I really hope they get some closure soon, it must be excruciating.

Has anyone seen the man from Belfast missing in Alicante? His name is John George, Seems to be all over my feed.

He flew to Alicante last week and was meant to be driving down to Benidorm to meet friends. Apparently called someone at home distressed on Saturday but no further details.

Haven’t seen any confirmation that he made it to Benidorm, or that he hired a car. No mention of the people he was meeting either.

his (ex?) girlfriend posted that his life was “dangerous” and that she was only thinking one thing which she has now edited. But there’s now a go fund me which has managed to raise money quite quickly to go and look for him in Benidorm, which is strange if they haven’t had any confirmation that he actually got there. the information in the news is different to what the family are writing on Facebook too it seems.
