Ooh drove past The Big Blue Hotel yesterday 😂. I’ve family who live on the outskirts of Blackpool whom I visit regularly.
It’s such a shame about Blackpool as they got knocked back a few yrs ago to turn the prom into casinos etc . As I recall the money went down south instead . It’s one of them places you always go to as a kid and visit the Pleasure Beach , go up the tower and then buy 5sticks of rock and a bag of laughing gas to bring home 😂😂… oh the memories . It really is a tit HOLE these days, sad but true !
Spain over Blackpool 🤔🤔🤔.. really 😱😂🙈
PS , when it rains in Blackpool it’s vile & freezing 🥴

Yea I have fond memories as a child going to Blackpool, but last time I went I felt quite sad about how much the place has gone downhill. Also have many many good memories of nights out in Blackpool when I was younger, used to be such a great night out, staying in a cheap B&B. We took the kids to the illuminations every year when they were younger but wouldn’t go now. Im done with the freezing my tits off, wind and rain blowing in my face, the weather can be so brutal there. Im sure I read its one of the most deprived towns in the UK now with very high rates of unemployment and crime. Shame how these places go down hill. I certainly wouldn’t travel as far as she will have to. Id rather go to Brighton or somewhere along the South coast, Bournemouth, Southampton, probably same distance for her?

Definitely more chance of catching covid in Blackpool than Spain 😆 we booked a b&b there last minute last year after 10 cancelled holidays, to stay overnight after watching the illuminations… all I can say is we drove home after the lights 😂

To be fair if shes staying at the Big Blue it is nice, just not very convenient location. Its a very long walk to town, you can get the tram or a taxi I suppose. I really think she’s going to hate it, rough as toast in Blackpool even for a skip rat like her.

Clearly she doesn’t bother with the standard two lateral flow tests a week or she wouldn’t be shitting herself about a result! I presume that’s standard in wales anyway, it is in Scotland - everyone is asked to do two tests a week regardless of what job you do.
I can't speak for everyone/ every place but in wales and England you don't have to do that. We are in England but my inlaws are in wales and don't have to . Certain businesses do ask you to do a weekly one but it seems to vary business to business etc xx it seems most people only Do one if they have symptoms or are in contact with someone who is positive. Her reaction was very off though tbh ! Xx

She could get the Cinderella Carriage instead of a taxi 🙈😂

How sad that she's this excited about her child wanting to spend time with her.. I take mine to the cinema and out for coffee, etc all the time. They enjoy it and are 7,14 & 16. And why would you take one to the cinema but not the other son?? Very strange. 🤔
I thought that where’s the other one? school hols why aren’t they both on a day out with her 🤔

Awk nobody is doing this ffs
never done one in my life lol
Don’t own any
I was just curious as that is very much not the norm in Scotland. It doesn’t matter your occupation here. If your work doesn’t provide them then you are encouraged to order them yourself, which is what I do. We’re all meant to test twice per week without symptoms. Obvs some don’t but most do. As that’s the norm it seemed so weird she was horrified about her children doing a test

She said the other wk on her stories that she wants the fire taking out the kitchen & the cupboards all putting at the other end... now she's replacing all the floor tiles (which won't be cheap) & getting new work tops. No mention of moving the cupboards down the other end now? Wouldn't it make more sense to do it while the kitchen is all gonna be upside down, or is she just gonna have it all new for 6 months then rip it all out & start again, I wouldn't be surprised at all!
