I wondered that as they painted it really dark beige not so long ago didnt they? But that was before the new fire/media wall so it’s probably all been decorated again while they were away on one of their many holidays.

I don’t understand the comment about worktop being cut for the tap - I’ve changed the tap in my kitchen twice since we had it done (with quartz top) and they are all standard fit? Maybe it was a different one with more than one feed coming up from underneath. That would be more of an issue
