There is something off about her makeover. I like the print, it’s sweet, I think it’s the pink panelling, the colour seems wrong IMO. I don’t like the desk nook, those shelves need to go back to 1982. I would have put shelving in there for books, but then again unlike Alaska my kids have tonnes or books.

i can’t quite tell if the wallpaper and paint colour better suits a baby girl’s nursery, or an old person’s home

And it's in the screen door which means they'd have to leave the glass door open and it's bloody freezing where she lives.

It just looks so DIY and not in a good way. Will age so badly so quickly.
 
I have square set with is more expensive than standard cornices and I really like it! That said if you want frilly wall paper and panelling, then of course you need cornices! She doesn’t know what style her house is, it’s such a mish mash!

Actually you’re right. She has something different again. That doesn’t look like normal square set. How odd!
