She’s just taking the piss now. Come on Kyree. If you had the expensive furniture pre-kids, then by all means do what you can to keep it nice now. You’ve gone out and replaced all of your perfectly fine furniture with brand new furniture, knowing your kids are at peak destruction age. That’s just stupid. Not saying she should let the kids trash the place, but if you’re going to cover every single surface in blankets and towels, why bother?!?

100% I’m currently in our lounge room enjoying the peace and quiet while my kids are in theirs playing board games, it’s bliss. Can honestly say we’ve never spent time in our larder/sex dungeon or laundry so they’re a massive waste of space. They’d don’t need to be that big.
