I give her zero credit for getting rid of Socks, even though it was the right thing to do. People make mistakes (this one was very predictable and preventable but whatever), but to then rush out and purchase another puppy? She’s learnt absolutely nothing. She has no remorse. Her only regret is wasting her time with an unaesthetic dog in the first place.

Well I'm going to WK a little bit her but i think she admitted she fucked up and I think socks is much happier where he is.
Should she get another dog? Def not a puppy! Why doesn't she adopt a slightly older dog that won't need potty training etc? Maybe one whose owner has died or in hospital and needs a home?
She says now she wants a smaller dog, she'll need to redo the fences as a small dog will get thru those holes in the wire.
Don't get a dog that needs grooming, very high maintenance.
Just in case your still reading along kyree, a few pointers from a dog owner.

I just don't think her backyard is suitable for a dog at all, a big dog will jump over the fence, and a small dog with dig under it, it will find away to get out, you can see all the neighbours and the curiosity would be too hard to resist for a puppy.. having any kind of dog will just not work for them.

We have a cavoodle and I was shocked how high they can jump/climb. We had to add another section to our gate. It would get over her current fence no problem

I couldn’t give one tiny iota of fucks about her and her stupid decisions but the only thing that grabbed my attention in the first place about this boring AF individual was:

(i) making sure the poor dog was safe
(ii) her attitude throughout the process of deciding to get a dog and preparing herself and her household for one. She wants it both ways. Sharing her life for content and cash and yet completely unable to cope with the advice/opinions/criticism that comes with that.

Rehoming Socks was absolutely the best thing for him, but she shouldn’t have got a dog in the first place and her “research” should have included to listening to everyone who gave her very valid (and correct!!!!) concerns, instead of telling everyone to eat a dick. Didn’t know how big he’d get? duck off. I also care that she hasn’t learnt her lesson and either has (or is about to) rushed out and bought ANOTHER puppy on impulse without doing her research on the breed. If you couldn’t handle walking Socks with the kids, you also won’t be able to with a cocker spaniel. It wasn’t his size, it was his training. Cocker spaniels will pull you over too, given a chance. If Socks jumped your fences, a cocker spaniel can too. Idiot.

Yes, my sister has a Jug, Jack Russell x pug (possibly odd combo but she was a rescue dog) and she’s the best dog, perfect for her but she still doesn’t deserve to own a dog.
