He so looks Amish and it’s Amish territory where they used to live. I swear when she moved over first she said he owned that house years and had done nothing with it, then came the basement renovation etc….. deffo something up here with money with the two of them. She went for a job interview, or, well, was supposed to but she just happened to get into that "car accident" on her way and hasn't said any more about a job since.

Do your family shun you if you leave the Amish community? I know they have a choice at aged 16? I’ve watched documentaries about it but from what I remember you can’t just go back and visit your family. Could be wrong though and maybe not all the communities are the same

I thought he was some sort of builder and she made out he was in charge so I thought by what she said he had a good job and good money coming in. Something seems really off about the move like surely with the kids you'd at least move to a house of similar size. She has bragged online so much about the house etc and this amazing American life. I guess the older son no longer visits as he just vanished and nothing was ever said.

My understanding of amish life from following ex amish people on tiktok each community is different as the rules are made by the Bishop in charge of each community so they might be similar but different. Also they say that old order amish are much stricter than new order amish.

Or they were renting and the landlord has sold it?? it's all very strange as she likes to make a video of when she last went to the loo, this has been kept very quiet, I'm dying to know now
