I undersrand people may not call exs but he was verbally abusive and having been there myself as a victim of abuse it is the right thing to do.
He was just consistantly abusive. Its nasty and immature.
Its not the same as 2 people who dont get on.
Its not about friendship. Paticularly as his reputation is ruined by that narcissitic behaviour.

I dont know much about Lucy at all in Towie I know Mark did the rounds with the Towie girls like Sam and Billie (?)

Shame I like Mark at times and think he can really do well for himswlf if he shakes off that public grudge.

If he was that abusive then therapists would recommend no contact at all from an abuser, they certainly wouldn’t say it’s ‘the right thing to do’.

Also, hadn’t Mark broke up with Lauren when he was going out with Lucy Meck? I remember cringing for her as she told Lucy that he’d always end up going back to her when his other relationships didn’t work out! She was genuinely proud to be the long suffering doormat who took him back time and time again.

Yip, with the girl for 10 years, she had no family and looked at his as her family. Treated her terrible. The family only ever blamed Lauren for staying with him. Never ONCE took Mark aside and went mental at how he treated her, their f*cked up mantra was Lauren shouldn't come back! He literally got away with coercion and bullying, but they blamed a girl who was in love instead. Still what do you expect, Mark snr told Jess' boyfriend to not get caught when he cheats! Horrible people.


Why if the person having it wants to discuss it? She went through it herself, not them. The world doesn't actually revolve round them, hard as it is to believe

2.) he wasn’t “with” Lauren for 10 years - she was his booty call for 9.5 years of it and that probably equates to 1-5 bunk ups in an Escort XR3i
3.)LaRose won’t look like either parent as Lauren has more plastic in her face than the Pacific and the daddy, well sheesh… we’ll have to wait-er long time for that unless Jeremy Kyle makes a comeback with his TV DNA tests
4.) mark and Michelle are financially stable with dogs they’ve kept for more than 2 minutes, own their own home albeit, looks a bit lavish for 2 people not that high up on the relevant chain.. whereas in poundstretcher land, Lozza rents a 2 bed flat and sells her crusty overstretched used thongs on OF for £300.
5.) towie was a god awful tv show and what was said on there by all was fake, however Lauren through 2016 - present has proved herself to be a unemployable narcissist with a toxic illiterate tongue - who interviews her for 5 mins once a blue moon?? The delights of LW or Steph’s packed lunch who can literally get zero viewers

Both are not news worthy and mark is more credible but for the number of laughs, give me Lauren and her 101 faces any day

I wouldn’t give a tit about my ex if I had settled and had a baby with someone else and I certainly wouldn’t want or need my ex to congratulate me regardless if we ended on good terms or not. I like Lauren and felt for her in the Towie days and I think she has issues still now that probably stem back to those days and her upbringing but I really can’t stand her now. She’s a catfish and very fame hungry.

I ageee, I have a significant ex who I was with for a lining time but I would have found it odd if he had congratulated me when I had my kids.

He didn't want to be faithful to Lauren but could not bear her being with anyone else either. The contolling proposal when she was finally ridding herself of him, the tatt, makes me angry, narcissistic twit. Guy walks all over people. All the Wrights do. I honestly can't see Lauren doing that, I hope you have proof. She also would not appreciate that comment as she knows Sadie well and will be beyond sad for her. Just not allowed to be pals as the Wright mafia gave Sadie hell for it.

I wrote on a previous thread that my friend worked on a hotel renovation just pre Covid and Michelle was staying in a private lodge in the estate with a bloke who wasn’t Mark. Popbitch have a the story too it seems, no smoke without fire and all that.

Have also heard Marks fitness empire is dead in the water before it’s even begun, as there was a story being hawked around the tabloids about him and a friend buying and selling steroids. The story has been killed with an expensive injunction but his plans for guest appearances with any big names has sunk with it.

The guy is a total clown, but always seems to get away with it.

Some of the early scenes of him, whether scripted or not, are shocking to watch. He manipulated and gaslighted her for years. Doesn’t mean she’s not a twit though

Any idea the reason for the PR cover up? I agree their relationship does seem odd but surely it’s gone on too long for a “showmance” now? And they both have steady careers so it’s not like they need the publicity or anything. I’m very intrigued by this one!

I have always found Mark and Michelle a beautiful couple, absolutely stunning. I think he adores her clearly and she does him. It's just they employ a lot of PR people in the industry to moderate any negative comments. More so than even really bigger celebrities so that alone raises questions.

I know a photographer who tells me that a lot of their photos are staged and agreed upon beforehand. Also as couple they do generate a lot of traffic to the Daily Mail website hence sometimes the most trivial stories about them getting coverage. They do have a paid agreement with them. Hence the wall to wall positive coverage.

This above completely. I am unsure why people cant understand that. I do however think Mark has grown and matured since that time. I also feel that people are quite obsessed with the Towie years despite it being nearly a decade ago when they took part in. Mark has repeatedly said that he has moved on from then. Which is his right and prerogative.

I think it will be a very lonely thread Can’t believe Lauren is still letting Mark live rent free in her head. Her time would be much better spent looking after their new baby and keeping an eye on Charlie.

Too many people presuming Mark and Michelle want children, of course he has publicly said he does as it’s still taboo for people to say they don’t want them. No way do they give a toss about Lauren, they’re probably hoping this baby would make her finally move on (clearly not the case)

To be fair we dont know who is posting these abhorrent comments although it is not that difficult to find out. Many years ago I used to work for a law firm (albeit not as a lawyer). I have friends who still do though and they keep saying there is a massive effort currently by some celebrities to get sites shut down and retrieve peoples IP address (this lie that influencers spread explained here) . Now as we all know a lot is hot air and actually drives traffic however there is a concerted movement happening.
