Agree , I actually think Jess looks great in an Essex girl way if you know what I mean.I'll probably get hate for this. & I know both of them have had loads of work done but I actually think jess looks better then michelle these days

Yeh to start a family he said. The money and fame out there is on a much bigger scale you'd never leave that life so soon when you have those wages you can fly home 3 or 4 times a year with ease.

Yes I'm glad ppl are realising how nasty they are. I really hope lauren gets support & all the wrights towie mates turn on them, I've also seen clips where his been nasty to most of the towie lot

Even Michelle made a comment on her Corrie days about how Mark was horrible to Lauren and I imagine Michelle's parents would be disgusted if they saw how riddiculed and insulted Lauren was.
I don't understand how he earned his ego he is not the good looking amazing man he thinks he is. He was the only one aside from his family singing his praises.
He comes across as massively insecure hence the hair implants and overstyling and it probably ly hurts his male Chauvinist EGO that Michelle Keegan didn't take his surname (good move!)
or she earns more ( a lot more!) and has a thriving acting career and is often in other countries working months on end. She gets to work with some hot men. Warren Brown, Luke Pasquilino, Joe Gilgun.

Because they’re shallow clout chasers and she’s famous …. Poor Lauren was a local girl they belittled and made feel lucky to date him. They’re deluded of their own importance and they whole family think they’re a cut above for some strange reason even terrahawk Carol.

Why is it so strange that she didn't take his name? He could've taken hers?? Or would that be seen as worse
I don't get this crazily outdated view that a woman has to change/give away her full identity when she chooses to marry. We give enough of ourselves when we become mothers let us keep our names when we marry!

Agree! Totally outdated now. Back in the day women took the husband’s name as they were basically the husband’s property. A bit like when slaves had to take their masters names. Not necessary these days whatsoever!
A colleague of mine who married a few years ago had her husband take her name which was nice and refreshing. Can’t ever imagine any of the Wright men doing that.

It’s up to her but when you’re marrying someone like Mark Wright it probably is an issue to him. I don’t think you can compare ‘giving yourself as a mother’ to changing your name upon marriage. The two aren’t related and Michelle never became, or so far hasn’t become a mother.
I worked with a woman who initially kept her name then eventually caved and changed it about a year into marriage, apparently after some tense conversations with her husband. I found out my mother initially kept her maiden name upon marrying then changed it as it was just too difficult for people to grasp, this was over forty years ago. She also said it would be difficult for a woman to have a different surname to her children.
There was also an engagement interview mark and Michelle did with one of the red top magazines where she said she’d change her name and she wanted children but wanted to be married first. Obviously that aged like milk. The only explanation I can think of is Michelle Keegan stands out a bit more than Michelle Wright so Keegan might be better for her work.
