to be fair she did say it wasnt meant to offend and referred to most coupleas she knows, so not a dig at every childless couple i think..childless myself and cant get too excited over christmas, not because of no kids just think its so overblown and last too long

I appreciate that but just saying something isn't meant to offend doesn't mean it doesn't. Also referring to couples that op knows but extrapolating it to suggest it should also apply to m&m does come across as if it should therefore apply to all couples without children.

When there was just childless people upset on the thread and lots of things around Christmas are said about childless and childfree couples it can be upsetting to see even more of it on that same thread just a few posts later.

I think a while back someone said something like Mark and Michelle’s home isn't a family home because they're a couple not a family with kids and it caused a bit of a ripple. I think it’s just word play and I honestly don’t think any malice was intended by the statement. Personally I agree, I wouldn’t describe a couple as a family but if I was married I might describe my husband as ‘my family’, like I said, word play.

It looks really cold. It would look so much nicer if all of the soft furnishings and accessories were eg a different rich jewel colour in every room so emerald in the living room, ruby in the bedroom etc. and a hint of gold here and there.

The house is so big, and so white it could take such rich colours and it would make it look much warmer and less like a fancy spa.

A lot of influencers houses are all cream and beige so they were probably just following the trend. Yes it would be nice to see more colourful furniture, even some framed family photos and colourful Christmas decorations.

I've never personally known anyone with Spanish genes before so I was unaware that people with Spanish genes hit 30 and their entire face just changes naturally like Michelle's has
