i saw in the comment section on the latest FRE video that michael is engaged... when did that happen lol
Whoa, reading that is like listening to Michael and Dave's word salads. That was painfulIf you don't have time to listen, here's the transcript from Main Street Moments latest podcast where they discuss in detail Michael's current predicament. They suggest that since allears is dying and it's painful and inevitable, Michael should be the new face of allears. They go so far as to say of course, he would need to bathe and shave, and get better clothes, and no Dave whatsoever - never ever....hahahahah.
I'm talking about Disney specific vloggers one of my favorite vloggers that I like very much who has become a controversial person is Michael Kay and I like Michael K. I've met Michael Kay several times, he is super nice to everybody he's really cool. We've been watching him for many years now of course. Since he became a Florida resident things got a little weird - he went on like this Bender at Disney where he just overdosed on Disney you know, he's yeah he's a crack addict, he's a Disney fanatic. He lived in Maryland; he came to Florida and then he went on this like a drug addict but on Disney and he was on a constant high. And, whoa and it got a little strange especially with his brother who's a little weird well not a little, his brother's very strange okay - Dave Kay's a very odd man. But I like Michael K a lot and we talk about Michael K A Lot on this program because I I really like Michael Kay but I like the old Michael Kay. A lot of people do.
There's been a change with Michael K which I'm building up to guys that I want your thoughts on but Michael Kay the way he used to do things is he used to do a video every day of the week at around 8 or 9 A.M Eastern. I can't remember it was either eight or nine Eastern and it was an informational video. I don't know why this stands out in my mind but a couple years back they changed the rules on the sizes of the baby carriages that you could take the strollers so he would do he would do a little video and he would tell you what the new rules are or you know minor little things like that I don't know how how he came up with a different topic every day. I'm like wow this guy just coming up with great ideas and he learned so much about what was going on at the place and then on occasion every few months he would come to Florida and spend time at the parks and it was exciting. Then he got here and he went on this non-stop bender and uh gained a lot of weight and everything because he's eating the Disney food and stuff that happens, he stopped shaving and then took very strange photographs with Dave, like when they were the figment or the dream finder or those yoga poses on the cruise.
I really like him and I'm rooting for Michael Kay to get back where he was. He's always done cruising on occasion Disney cruising, but a few months ago he started the transition his channel into a cruising channel and then he didn't have a video for like a month almost. He had taken an Alaskan cruise it wasn't even a Disney cruise, by the way, the Disney cruise rip off is a lot of money and you can have a better cruise for a lot less money on better cruise ships..., but um anyway, he did this Alaskan cruise and then he didn't do a vlog for quite some time and then he did a weird video that he showed a parade. I can't remember which parade it was - was it the Christmas or the Halloween parade? And he just was standing there showing the parade he didn't even talk or show himself was very unusual and then all of a sudden this week he's done two live streams one from Hollywood Studios and one from Epcot and I've never known him really to be a live streamer at the parks, but he's been live streaming from the parks now. I don't mind.
I like his live stream. I've been saying for years he should be live, I think it would be but I think he'd be very successful at it and I always felt and I've talked to you about this, that he should live stream one day a week, maybe on a Wednesday or a Tuesday when there's no other live streamers, like Lake Buena Visitors, That Crazy Disney Lady, ResortTVOne. Those are live streamers we watch and you know everybody's got their night or their time, some people do it multiple times a week but I think he'd be very good at it because he's very communicative with the audience. He's very talkative. It's just weird because I'm so used to seeing him on camera, and yeah he's never on camera anymore. But people would complain sometimes that he's on the camera too much because he was in every single shot and sometimes that would get a little annoying because I'm like to see what you're looking at and I don't think he meant anything by it. I don't think he's an arrogant person. I think he just felt that we were his friends and it was like brought us more into it. I feel like I'm a friend of Michael Kay. He brought us more into being at the park with him - like he was talking to us and I think that was the way he
went, but now I never hardly ever see him on camera and then he did a couple of videos where he was at home with some information there's a lack of consistency and hey that's his prerogative.
I don't know where he's at with YouTube, um his views are down because there's no consistency and his channel is not growing. If you want a channel to grow you have to be consistent like when he was first starting out. When we first started watching him like four years ago, he was extremely consistent. He had a video every day and then he would go like on a Disney Vacation two or three times a year and it was a huge build up with the packing and the planning and that was awesome and he had a video every day. Now you don't know when his videos are coming or what it's going to be. I don't know what's up. I'm sure he won't comment and tell us but I don't know what's going on. And I don't think a lot of people do.
Let me tell you open about it - I want Michael Kay to regain his momentum and be successful because I really like Michael Kay a lot and I know
he cares for his viewers on his channel and I know he loves Disney. If Michael Kay happens to listen to this or someone who knows Michael Kay is
listening - I really enjoyed his two live streams this week. I thought they were very good, they were very informative. You know I like Resort TV but sometimes I feel like I'm watching a Telethon like Jerry Lewis's Telethon because there's so much money coming up. There's so much thanking for the super chats - well they have a generous audience - and I feel like are they are they raising money for Jerry's kids, and there's nothing wrong with super chats but sometimes it's just out of control.
Michael Kay, I really enjoyed his live streams and he adds a lot of value on the live streams. When he was doing his live streams it wasn't a Non-Stop thank you for the PayPal and the super chats. He was going around showing you things, enjoying them and explaining them and everything else. So I hope he starts live streaming more because I want Michael Kay to get back where he was. You know it would be really good and this might be crazy and the best way he can do that is to never Vlog with his brother again. Yes.
You know it would be really interesting, I don't know if this would be good or bad but, all ears.net is clearly dying a slow death. It is. Molly and them are
doing great with the Mammoth Club. Horrible name but anyway, they're doing well. Molly's great, we all love Molly, but all ears.net is dying without Molly. They need a name, they need a person. They got like 10 people there. They're all over the place, there's no one person you can like really bond with that's like a super authority. We were talking about they should hire somebody. What if they hired Michael Kay or what if they hired Spokesmayne?
We thought we'd put that name out there - that he might be good. I think if allears.net fired everybody else and they hired Michael Kay - gave him like a one-year contract or whatever if you're listening - and obviously they can edit and control the content and get him on track get him a script. Get him to dress nice, yeah exactly. And he's very good on camera, I think that would be a super idea. What do you guys think if allears.net hired Michael Kay, fired everybody else, hired him and make him the face of all your stuff. I think he'd do it. You know only really put him on track. The people on allears.net that are on there now, I have no personal dislike of any of them, but when Molly left all ears.net and started the one of the most successful YouTube channels for Disney that is Mammoth Club, because it grew faster than anyone - their Patreon is insane - Molly on Mammoth Club makes more money on Patreon in a month than some people make in a year. That's right and you know so they're doing very well and everybody that's on allears.net I like them, but they're what I said when Molly left was they are Supporting Cast. They're not the leading men and women and they're very nice and all - I can't remember their names now - what's the Seabiscuit, the funny guy, what's his name, you know I'm talking about love muffin, I don't know, they all got nicknames. I don't know, but they're just they're Supporting Cast. I think we have a great idea, hire Michael Kay. I'm telling you I think that would be right.

️ Hello Mr. Kay, hope all is going good with you & your family. I have noticed a significant drop in audience views & recently on the number of videos you have put out. Hope nothing stressful is happening. A bit of constructive criticism, & I have notice you don't accept criticism very well as you delete or block peoples comments... don't, letting others read criticism & you acknowledge is actually a good thing, of course within reason. I have viewed your vids for many years & notice a lot if not most of what made watching you enjoyable gone, the magic is gone, since just a few months after you moved to Florida. As a person who studied television production, may I suggest you go back to your roots. Meaning, what made your videos so enjoyable wasn't just the topic, yes, the topic "Disney trip/vacation" is the hook, but ultimately its you, the host, that makes the content pleasurable. You need to concentrate on you, family and then where your going. You literally where in line to out pace Tim Tracker & Adam the woo, at one point. But, since your move, your presentation style of first mentioning where your going, the waking up, eat breakfast, put the luggage in vehicle, drive to airport, in the plane, landing, & so forth made your viewer feel they are taking that exciting trip. Including the family also very exciting. With that then you can insert opinions, reviews & tips without losing your audience. You also stopped the cooking videos, opening mail & so forth. Now in Florida you are going to have to work harder to sell the magic to your audience. The cruise vid was good, but lacked that magic you had in the past when getting ready for a trip. Only you, not the location your young to can bring that magic back. Also, if in a group & others don't want to be in the video, I must say it puts people off, & audience retention then suffers. So let's say your sister doesn't want to be shown, is best she isn't mentioned or heard to avoid that issue, so heavy editing would be required. Remember that any level of negativity from those with you on film, multiplies to your audience. And lastly, you need to collaborate with other youtubers, especially a female!! Your main topic is (travel, disney), and a audience who just sees a single man that doesn't include women or family or a significant others inherently raises red flags. It's a natural defensive instinct. So people tend to walk away after awhile, do to having that feeling of something is off here. That by the way affects males not females. A single woman can get rich making Disney vids as a female isn't instinctively viewed as a threat. Even Super Enthused when I asked about you & her doing a vid together responded you showed no interest View attachment 1766982 q️. In under a year her & Mr. Morrow blew you out of the water & are now making a living off this. You need to reach out to these youtubers. Best of luck!!
Nice work. He also said “Dave doesn’t date in general” and he continued to refer to himself in 3rd person so I trolled him for that. He also threw me a soft ball with he doesn’t want to make content that people have “no interest in whatsoever”. Thanks Dave
he actually won $5k on the game show and it looks like he’s wearing that crappy free MSC necklace. My head just exploded.
Please please please go to the video above and make a comment. Dave can’t control this narrative. My contribution.

Forehead Bump
That Dave guy is either a creeper or a tool. I just can’t tell which one.
I agree with your assessment. The only thing funny about the game show video was the comment section. Pure gold right there.See, I thought Dave came off as really try hard on the Leno show. Came out with that weird expression and head nodding. Tried to convince everyone how much of a personality he had by acting over the top throughout the entire thing. Totally missed the Kevin Eubanks joke but kept going on about the food thing and his metabolism with no hint of self awareness. I believe Donkey Kong was totally made up and no one calls him that. I also believe the Amazon story was fake and Dave’s attempt at trying to be funny with something “edgy”. It barely even got a response. Maybe if this was the first/only time I’d ever seen him I would just think, “this guy is kinda goofy but whatever” but it’s hard for me to not see this is a continuation of the try hard, over the top, annoying, delusional, odd guy we all know from YouTube. Yeah, you get these kinds of people on game shows sometimes but Dave’s whole shtick is basically acting like he’s on a game show with everything he does. This is just him.
I can't almost guarantee you that Jackie has absolutely no interest in doing a video with him at this point or seeing him in general. Nate on the other hand still seems like he'll hangout with almost anyone if he can get something out of it. (That sounds worse than I mean it. Nate is a nice person. He just still doesn't seem too picky.)REALLY, REALLY great advice!
Too bad he stopped at: "Hello Mr Kay"...
Unless you're a cast member.Nate is a nice person.
He choked on a bison burger, ironically.I just figured out why we haven’t heard from Michael. Evidently he died in 2010.
Michael Kay Obituary
December 13, 2010, Michael Kay passed away on December 13, 2010 in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Funeral Home Services for Mic...www.tributearchive.com
And compounding the tragedy, he wouldn't have gone out of his way for it.He choked on a bison burger, ironically.
Havok andI think the main thing going against your assessment of Dave is the existence of Havok.
There are moments when we hear Dave talking to people off screen that...he seems different, normal. In those moments, I am completely convinced that his persona is an act. Then....I see him wandering around Hawaii like a bum, and I think he really does have a screw or two loose.
Adam Twattan and Gary have their own threads on hereI'm watching Adam Hattan's latest solo vlog posted today and just want to shout him out for fun, informative Disney content. He, Gary C, and Rachel's adventures (in whatever combination, but especially Adam & Gary) are so enjoyable, and I love that they aren't afraid to be honest about things that are subpar, that they're genuinely excited to be there as guests and not vloggers, and Adam has the bonus of having done DCP and worked in Epcot. And things like him not showing families in the pools or dining, working hard to keep kids off the video, are lightyears beyond Michael's sense of responsibility. He's 100% the only vlogger I'd absolutely love to do Disney with. He and Gary come off as the sweetest, silliest, kindest people. Anyway, I have no connection to him or the channel, I was just watching and thought, this is what good Disney vlogging is.
