I didn’t realise this girl had a thread on here. I watch her sometimes on tiktok, I’ve always been blown away by her attutude to some of the criticism that’s put her way. Especially regarding the baby - sometimes I feel like she treats Mabel like a doll :s

oh and I was directed to this thread because I said I didn’t like her baby names on a thread here. I really don’t. 😬
 
I actually feel kind of worried for Mia. Well Mabel actually.. The way she thinks she’s set for life concerns me.. I get YouTube is a decent wage especially if it grows! But that’s a lot of what ifs. And to have more kids purely on that wage?? She has no idea what she’s in for 😬 kids only get more expensive as they grow, yes you can afford 2 babies, but wait until you have school uniform to buy, bikes and scooters, holidays, school supplies, Xbox’s, outdoor toys etc. I just wish her mum would be honest with her and tell her what a fantasy she’s living in. I don’t understand why everyones encouraging more kids instead of telling her to focus on her education incase this all goes wrong 🥴

Sorry to go back but I agree with who will look after Mabel when she’s horse riding. I’m sure when she said her mum doesn’t do nothing she means her mum raises her because it’s impossible for her to do all those hobby’s without someone watching Mabel.
I have a 3 month old, I put her on the bed the other day to put clean clothes on after tidying the room in the morning and she fell of the bed 😖 (please don’t hate on me!! she was in the middle and I didn’t know she can roll! It was the first time she did it). So Im not sure how Mia can leave Mabel on the bed and Mabel doesn’t fall of! She’s older then my little one and expected to be more active. (Yes I know not everyone’s baby falls I’d their bed 😂)
Also, I’m a year older then Mia and with my little one I barely get anything done and I live with the father! We bottle feed too. I just about get to clean my room in the morning and make bottles throughout the day. I also film videos for YouTube but I DONT have a schedule as I have to fit filming and editing around my daughter and sometimes I can’t do that!! I do most of my stuff at night e.g washing, sorting the room out and baby prep for the next day (toys etc).
So in all honesty I’m not sure how Mia can do that list? Maybe take one hobby at a time? Cause she should really fit it all around Mabel.
 
I personally never finished college. I struggled in my first year with mental health and never returned for my second year. I left with just AS levels.

I don’t think Mia NEEDS to go to uni to be successful.

Once I left college early I asked to increase my hours at my weekend job. I started working just above minimum wage full time. Earning just over £1,100 a month was great at 17. Then I applied for a promotion which I have currently be doing for two years. I don’t plan to stop there. I plan to keep reaching.

Basically what I’m saying is you don’t actually need uni to be successful

HOWEVER! Being on a comfortable wage now at 20 years old I still don’t want children until I am 27 and older... because I know it will be a huge financial change.

If Mia does want to keep having all these babies I do think she should look at further education to seek a higher paid job. YouTube can pay well, with the right brand deals etc.

She is on great money for a 16 year old. Considering most weekend jobs will pay about £300-£400 if that for that age. But I do think her mum maybe needs to sit her down and show her the financial outgoings of a mum in the real world.

Maybe when she sees written down -£600 mortgage, -£150 council tax, -£100 gas and electric, -£50 phone bill. -£50 WiFi, -£300 or more food bill. And so so much more, she will have a reality check. I don’t want to upset Mia, I just don’t want her to be ill prepared and create the wrong impression on her younger audience

I’ve been to loads of baby groups because I become a mum at 17 and I wanted all the help and advice I could get and when I started going I was struggling with PND and I’ve always had very bad anxiety. I have never ever felt more comfortable in my life than I was at my baby groups, I was supported by mothers age 20-45, all had different experiences giving birth and different ways of parenting, and there wasn’t one bit of judgement in sight! It’s terrible she’s saying things like this because it will turn all these girls who “aspire to be a teen mum just like Mia” off going to the support groups, she shouldn’t be labelled an “influencer” as she gives the WORST influence !
 
How old is mabels dad does anyone know ? How long was she with him ? Because surely if she likes older guys these guys was rapping her she was only what been 16 four months before finding out she was pregnant with Mabel

These things happen! I was changing my daughter and quickly went to get something and she rolled off at about 5 months and literally hated myself for a good while:(

I agree it was a pointless comment, there was no constructive criticism to it. If you are going to say you don’t like something, at least have a reason why or an alternative 😂
