A couple of years ago my best friend met a girl who said she was on the pill but after about a couple of months she was pregnant. She was never on the pill at all, she'd literally been trying to get pregnant, and he was blind to seeing all this because he'd caught feeling.
Sperm donors cost money to use. I know she has 10 grand in the bank (lol) and I don't know if she would be paying or her mum, but it worries that at the end of the day she could easily go through tinder to hook up with someone and come home one day and say 'oops I'm pregnant again'.
It worries me when she says about wanting a boyfriend because of how easy it would be for her to get the next baby that she seems so desperate for.

and I feel sorry for Mabel - she should be her mothers no 1 priority at less than a year old! It’s a bit “thanku, next” lol. Also worrying that Mia takes having babies by different fathers so lightly (or with sperm donation not even knowing the father). A child needs a father figure, somebody to keep the child grounded while her mum is off editing videos for YouTube or trying to find a job with no education, when YouTube inevitably dies out. Whilst I would never judge anybody with multiple baby fathers, it’s not a life anybody would choose and I don’t think you can deny that it inevitably has an effect on the child. Half of what makes Mabel herself is missing, she has no link to that side of her identity. Same with all the other children Mia plans to have By sperm donor. Again I would never judge anybody who makes a situation with no father work, but perhaps Mia should focus on dealing with her own daddy issues rather than bringing more children with daddy issues into the world

I don't necessarily agree that children need a father figure but I don't get why she says she's against her children having a father?
Most people using donors are couples who can't conceive themselves or single women who are getting older and want to have a baby before they can no longer have one.

This might be an unpopular opinion but i personally think her wanting to jump in and get a sperm donor at 18-20 is a bit selfish, when there’s people who can’t conceive, are getting older and wants kids or even same sex couples who need that more than her. She has contradicted her point about wanting to be single so many times by posting stories saying “she wants a husband”. i would feel awful if she got a partner down the line and still chose to use a sperm donor instead of a person she truely loved. i’m the same age as mia and i feel like she’s “decided” to not give her children fathers WAY too soon, Her opinion could easily change a couple years down the line.

Completely agree with all of this! Mia needs to make a video and discuss all of these points very soon or she’s going to lose a lot of followers. The only ones she’ll keep will also be children so if that’s what’s she’s going for that’s fine , however if she wants adult followers she needs to act like an adult and discuss these things. Talking about having sex and drinking underage is not being an adult Mia! It’s making you look more childish than you already are

Exactly! In now way is this hate to Beth but she is very immature. But then again she’s 15. Right!! It’s annoying because she gives off a “I’m better than you and what I say is right and your all wrong” vibe. Like saying she couldn’t breastfeed even if she wanted too. Thats just a blatant lie. I had a horrendous birth. Me and my daughter were both poorly and I breastfed and expressed for the first month of her life! It’s everything that’s wrong with social media I think as a teen parent you need to be aware of the possible influence you’re going to have when sharing your journey as a teen mother. Wouldn’t be surprised if Mia got pregnant because of how Maddie and Cam portray the idyllic teen mum life, do it for the gram! Sickening. At least Cam does show some actual parenting and what it's like to be a mother. Every mum is going to take cute pictures for instagram to be fair. I would too if I had a baby and I still do with my furbabies haha!

Maddie on the other hand, she's just trying to portray the whole "oh my life is great with this tiny human attached to my tit" no different than mia trying to portray the "perfect life" she has.

Personally Cam is one of my favourite teen mum youtubers, she may not show cocos tantrums or the god awful parts of parenting that much but she still shows how hard it can be to be a young mother, especially now in the last while.

Personally I don't think people should film their child's tantrums and fits to be considered as someome "showing off real life" because those are the times your child needs your love and care the most and can be quite damaging in the future if your parent is just sat their filming you breaking down and posting it all over the internet.

This is mostly defending Cam because she actually does a good job in her own way possible (from what I can see at least) I'm no expert but that's my opinion.

I'm not even going to bother defend Maddie because in my eyes she deserves most of the "hate" she gets.

i love cam&fam, tried to find a maddie thread but because i thinks she's american there isn't much here. lots of stuff on twitter though but i do agree with what you are saying, but tbh i dont think she should really watch any teen mums at this point, it's only gonna make her want more kids or something. instead she should go to parenting classes, or mummy and toddler groups more and actually spend the day with teen mums, seeing what it is actually like and not through youtube where it is glorified. obvs do it after lock down is over
