She is a horrible person, telling people to do their research while she likes and spreads misinformation herself. She cherrypicks articles to hammer in her opinions and they are always debunked as false information. She's so stupid it's actually mind boggling?

If I have to hear how she has an education degree one more time I'll scream, as clearly it wasn't worth a bleeping shite.

That tweet is so easy to debunk, a very quick Google would give the full, accurate picture. Also it looks like that graph is taking data from one single week

She's an embarrassment to herself. Mind bogglingly stupid indeed!

I just find it peculiar that when Thomas was working building sites with his dad she had no interest... but when he became a pilot she had liked him for years? Hmmm, sure Jan.

If she did any research at all she'd know that Sweden did/does have measures in place
Right now they have reached a plateau, which other countries did at some point as well. Could change and skyrocket again any day!
Sweden banned visits to care homes in March in an attempt to slow down the spread among the elderly in those homes and has put measures in place to make sure they are protected (masks, few visitors, distancing, etc!). They encouraged social distancing in Sweden, asking people to work from home where possible, banning mass gatherings for five months in an attempt to slow the transmission. I'm sure Mel thinks that herd immunity is the reason Sweden's deaths have gone down, which is not true!
Sweden did have a high number of deaths, from January to June this year their death toll was the highest in 150 years. With restrictions lifting they could go back in that direction surely. I obviously hope the death rate stays down but it annoys me so much that anti-maskers/conspiracy theorists use Sweden as an example clearly without looking at the facts.
To quote Christian Althaus (epidemiologist): "There is often quite a misconception about what has been done and what is being done in Sweden. Whereas other European countries had maybe more strict measures and lockdowns, but came out of that in April or May, Sweden had softer measures, but kept them in place for a very long time."

As I always say, whenever you post neens it's always so on the button! She wouldn't be able to stand up to you in a one on one conversation.

Hence why she keeps her BS theories in the likes, because knowledgeable, informed and unselfish people like you exist ❤

Yep, another tweet in the replies posted a graph showing Sweden's deaths per million (over a more than just a week!) which were high!

Is she for real with the latest Insta post? She's a bleeping weapon. Someone told her to lessen her time watching news and she says she doesn't read anything covid related? Pff...spreading misinformation on covid though doesn't count? Using it as engagement on how it's affecting HERSELF. Not once has she made mention of ICU beds, spreading BS about herd immuninuty and anti mask BS, telling people to do their ReSearCh. I hope to god she gets called out and hard

Just because Sweden has managed to hit a plateau in deaths for a few days does not mean that they have done things right. During the entire pandemic, they have had 581 deaths per 1 million citizens when neighboring Norway and Finland are at 52 and 63 respectively. They also still have a relatively high number of new cases even if the death rate is low. The Swedish economy has also been hit just as hard as other economies, if not even harder so no, it's not like their strategy really paid off in the long run.

Sweden had very high death figures (maybe because they held treatment back from certain groups of people ) that in itself is disgusting...They've got more open space, different way of living and are only about the population of London amongst other things .

The chief epidemiologist in Sweden came out a few months ago to say that Sweden got it wrong in their approach I thought? And they’re considering local lockdowns. Seasonal depression is quite common in Sweden given how long and dark the winter is, they have high seasonal use of antidepressants - and they’re considering local lockdowns still.

So sick of this ~but Sweden just ignore coronavirus and they don't have any problems with it at all~
Mel is such an idiot, all this passive aggressive liking anti-mask anti lockdown BS while capitalising on ad campaigns by milking being "vulnerable" to the virus.
Here is just one of the many mental things Sweden have been doing to fight covid

https://www.12ft.io/https://www.the...nure-park-deter-visitors-coronavirus-lockdown

Also I don't get comparing Sweden's deaths with UK/ Ireland's ... "and they have done so without masks, without closures, without lcokdowns"
Like we have all those and we're still worse, so are they suggesting that somehow if we had less social distancing, less restrictions that we would somehow have less deaths? Because otherwise it is irrelevant, we are worse even with a long national lockdown and we would be even worse if we didn't.

What's happening on there?

People are calling her out for herd immunity etc- basically alluded to the commenters being trolls, deleting comments that don't take her side.

Have screenshotted most of what she didn't delete will upload when I can.. but go look she is acting unhinged and firing accusations just because she's getting called out, and you know what? Rightfully so... her followers aren't stupid.

Oh I'll have to go on my phone and have a look.
I can't with her calling everyone who disagrees with her a troll. She honestly thinks what she says is the truth and nothing but the truth and there's absolutely no way she could be wrong. Embarrassing.

She's saying people in Sweden trust their people to use common sense.. funny that. During a pandemic, wouldn't it be common sense for a (pregnant) woman to not go between households because she needs to film at one house in order to put out her essential content and sleep at another? Wouldn't it be common sense for a (pregnant) woman to not do unnecessary trips to the supermarkets or local café? Wouldn't it be common sense for a (pregnant) woman to not attend weddings? I don't know, just asking.. 😬
