In all seriousness, it makes me really sad that a young person anyone would look up to her as an authority on anything never mind the complex sociopolitical landscape of N.I.

I find it quite funny how she chalks her unawareness up to not watching news for mental health reasons. It's bullshit. She was well able to share unverified news reports and stats on the pandemic like nobodies business.

Silent on the mother and baby homes.
Silent on the numerous racist attacks on people in her own country.
Silent on all the business she claimed she was sewwww fearful of facing permanent closures.

This thing of her being so worried about people's mental health youse goise, youse don't get the hundreds of messages from suicidal people.

Ugh what a moron she is. I struggle with anxiety that is exasperated by consuming too much news and doom-scrolling. But I also want to stay informed - so I give myself 20 mins with breakfast to read the news. I know what’s going on but I’m also looking after myself. It’s possible to do both!

(Edited to add: some days when the anxiety is bad I dont read any news, and it’s definitely okay to step back sometimes IMO. Provided you’re not constantly stuck with your head in the sand except if it’s about you a la Melanie and Thomas. Bet they read every aviation news article....)

Thank you for all you're doing, I can't imagine working in that sector during all this. I have to believe that people like Mel and Thomas are in the minority with their thoughts and beliefs. Pisses me off how all her responses are so self-centred. Some people burn a lot of calories/lose a lot of weight through breastfeeding. Others are the opposite. I reckon she’ll be in for a shock once she stops BF and requires substantially less to maintain her weight.

So am I insane or I just don't think she's what I would describe as skinny?? She looks like she's back to her pre-baby weight but she's still very soft looking, I think she's just eating like she did before she had the baby and photoshopping/posing/using angles in her photos. Honestly, most mums I know looked more or less back to themselves around 7 months postpartum if they just keep eating normally regardless of working out. It's a lot easier to look good postpartum if you dress well, looking good naked is an ENTIRELY different story

You have hit the nail on the head haha! I'm 7 months postpartum and everyone thinks I look exactly the same, however all my muscle melted away and converted to fat when pregnant its a different story to what I look like with clothes on and off I'm working out now gyms have opened to regain strength and muscle, I'm actually interested to see if melanie does as she always goes on about it being good for her mental health?

I'm sure if you lived with 4 adults and had no cleaning, running around doing errands, unlimited free time, you'd be able to workout or post pictures of yourself all day to find angles that make you feel better, don't be so hard on yourself everyone's postpartum period is different! But Melanie is spoiled with how much help she has available and all the free time, free sports gear, she's naturally going to be in better shape by now

So she was able to let Thomas's mum watch the baby for a sponsored deal, raved about how great the format is and then abandons it when she's not being paid? I thought it was was such a great way to connect with her followers... Now she says what doesn't make her money is not a priority, which is fair enough, just be honest from the beginning for crying out loud.
Also: she says she's a one woman band and has no help yes has an agency linked in her profile and specifically points out that her management pick the giveaway winners. Are we to believe that this is the only thing they ever do?
